I have a rear view mirror camera, that films out the front and out the rear. 5 minute intervals, and works as a rear view mirror as well. It’s been solid for over 3 years.
My friend uses 360 camera . He sticks it to one of those selfie stick thingy. Covers any angle you might want to use later. Yes your bike looks like it has a wierd thick radio antenna but it works better than most cameras and as a rider you can never be too careful😅.

You need front and rear. If somebody is going to hit you chances are it’s going to be in the back. Roav makes pretty good products and has app support to save clips. Always get a large SD card for backup.
Now to find the GoPro I purchased years ago and used once! I’m a bit OCD but any USB cables I have need to be black, ideal the magnetic type so they don’t clutter the dash. Even a cable sock isn’t a bad idea….

I’m a southern man and drive a Ford F-n Ranger. Got 250k on the odometer and takes me to work making very good money. It’s important to stay invisible if you have things. I’ll fit right in with the self tappers in the dash. That’s a pro tip

I have been very happy with Rexing USA dash cameras. I think you should open your mind to them because of their cost, features and ability to be subtle. Also, the Go Pro mounted like that is an eyesore and a theft target. I am not interested in either. And many models have a rear mounted camera. You aren't getting that with a Go Pro.

Proclipusa makes awesome mounts vehicle specific. I’ve been using them for years. Once you have theirs you will never use another mount, Especially for phones. I highly recommend.
the only flaw with this is that its only recording when the ignition is on....the dash cam should film while the car is parked. especially in a city.....theft....vandals.....or hit and run cases....or if an accident occurs near where your car is parked. you may have caught it on cam

I was also a victim. The scammer was an Asian lady. She took me to court for 400k, because the insurance didn't believe her ridiculous story. Anyway, I came out victorious in the end but the b*tch wasted my time..
After having used GoPro's for years, and being disappointed with the quality of dashcams, I would say the GoPro is about as unreliable or maybe even worse, but at least you'll be able to read a license plate at 20 paces LOL

I've been using a Rove dashcam for many years, and so-far have never caught anything epic, but I'm glad I have it.
Been running a VIOFO dashcam for years. No problems, and it auto-starts and I did what East Coast man would do, properly hide the cables.

Magbak phone cases. Come with a small metal bar that can be applied to wherever you want in your vehicle. Had mine for over a year and it’s perfect.
