It is reminiscent of the Golden Era of Japanese sports motorcycles, i.e. the 1990s. I miss today the crazy color scheme of those years.
The only thing missing to complete happiness is a pink and white Ninja lettering such as was on the ZX750-K2, for example.

Not fond of this 40th paint scheme. Makes the bike look confused and the colours just dont match. The other two they released are even worse. The green wheels are awful too. Designer has no taste.
