Lots of dark rumbling techno nowadays with a bass that sits only in the low end, i have been making some high bpm dirty oldschool rave 303 techno and got stuck on how to fit all that crazy bass, stabs, hats and percussions in the high end of the mix coz the music is all about that massive energy coming right into your face If you are interested, check out some french masters like Dica or Pawlowski
Hey Will, do you know Björn (Bjoern) Torwellen? He is a german music producer and makes "dark" industrial techno. Heavy Bass, sadness and fear in his songs. Give it a try an listen to it :). Songs: Menschen Truemmer, Papa Legba, Technu. Very crazy is Batemans Bathroom and Shapeshifters. Also his videos to his songs are very weird.
@@EDMTips to be honest i dont stick to a single artist for favourites. I enjoy the genre of EDM and its plephora unique listening experiences through the music. But the two artist or groups that inspired me to do music production as a hobby is david guetta and swedish house mafia. But later down the line in the hobby, after seeing the details it takes to make a song click.. i have new found love for technically good mixed songs. Those that can blend different bases together and still keeping it fresh and clean :) EDM + disco never fails :)

I use cubase and I can normally replicate most methods in there but your first part where you created the rumble bass from the kick track has completely baffled me. Don't suppose you can do a video on the way that works? Are you recording a new kick from the original? I can buy that but when muted the kick, the rumble track stopped too...
