Thank you for this - I couldn't find her full routine or what others were doing anywhere. The skill difference is insane and the fact that she still had the nerve to act cocky in the face of a vastly superior dancer is just wild. She's not even in rhythm of the song! It's like even the concept of dancing itself is lost on her.
Spraygun was trash in all areas. I laughed until I cried then I was just angry. She earned all the zeroes she got. That must have been a record. If so, it’ll be impossible to break. I didn’t even know zero sum total was possible. Kudos
This is the first time I got to see her competitor, so I appreciate this. Raygun's swagger in the face of a vastly superior rival makes it even funnier. I'm wondering if you could get past TH-cam's censor with less opacity on the text.
@@celestialbeing4767 From what I can see, the problem is a qualifying process where people who win regional events can go straight to the Olympics without participating in an international event.. Raygun got in via the Oceania Championships. Her spots in that competition are online. The region doesn't look to be loaded with talent.
Great question! I tried a variety of opacities, and they either always got blocked or got blocked 80% of the time. So, eventually ended up with the overlay you saw, and it, thus far, has consistently achieved 'fair use.' So, I'll continue with it, but I would like to find an overlay that is less obtrusive. Thank you so much for inquiring, I really appreciate it!
Dear Keith, I think you did make a few interesting observations. Yes, the camera angle does seem to play a part. But I think Dr. Rachel Gunn might like to take some time off the stage and have more practice. I understand that she is trying to add some new color to this remarkable art form. But it is the iconic head spinning and such that should constitute the bulk of any breakdance performance. Without those, it would be like onion soup 🧅 🍲 without any onion 🧅 in it. Dr. Rachel will need to actively brainstorm ways of "welding these elements together". I see a performance with potential, but it seems somewhat fragmented. It needs to be perfected, and that takes practice. Her compatriot, Ms. Molly Chapman was wonderful too. And you are a nice person, Keith. And btw, Dr. R's opponent was terrific. Her steps are familiar, but they are still awesome enough for spectators to appreciate her performance
Hi! Thank you for the question! And yes, I wanted this to be my real first reaction to Raygun. All I knew going in was that this was big news for some reason. So, there you have it! Thank you again for inquiring, I really appreciate it!
Scored high in creativity in my opinion, however no Toprock, Footwork, zero Power moves, Freeze's were off. Super sloppy transitions could have be better. Raygun has good physical conditioning. Glad she did her thing. Raygun had ideas, her was bad execution. It was a competition. I hope they bring back breaking dancing to Olympics again.
Artlessly departing from breakdancing norms isn't creativity. The creative dancers are the ones that give artful, highly individual performance while keeping to the conventions of the form with extreme competence. This woman is a talentless egotist completely out of her depth in every way.
@@MikeM-uy6qp breaking is something you commit to. She has the physique. She's missing the four pillars. She looked like an upstart performing. A month's worth of practice. She didn't even present a challenge to the other dance battler.
After years of hard work where Breakdancing was marginalized and discriminated against, it finally made it to the Olympics, gaining the recognition that minorities in America never would have thought possible or even dreamed of. but Australian Miss Raygun, did not care, because her free holiday to Paris was more important than the talent of those who trained hard for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Lets talk about the Australian Committee responsible for this 40 years lady with no talent performing at the Olympics!!! Who was in that committee? Anna Meares! responsible and probably who decided that Raygun was good enough to participate.... she and Raygyn's husband were in the jury to choose who will go to Paris. And her Husband was also in Paris, probably paid by the committee too. All this is a scandal!!!!! Anna Maeres had the audacity to say that Raygun was the best female B-girl in Australia We demand an investigation on how Raygun got elected to represent Australia, Australian tax payers should ask for a refund of all that committee and Raygun spend in Paris!!!!!

“It’s the camera angle that makes it funny” nahh she’s just bad 😂
I've seen better breaking by 5 year olds having a meltdown at the local grocery.
If I did this during my wrestling warm-up, My coach would tell me to stop fooling around & get in shape.
😂You are a hilarious genius! Thank you!
