@@thevirginiabushcrafter8833 no, luckily I’m in a safe area. Just have lots of people that evacuated coming this way and running our gas stations dry but I filled up all my items yesterday knowing this could be the case. Thanks for checking on me 💕
Thanks again for your Support. I'd really like for you or someone to have been there with me. It is even more fun when there are two or more people. Plus, I'd like to teach the other person as well. Stay Safe.
Hello my friend! Excellent video. Thanks for sharing your adventures . Bandanas are great accessories. I like shemaghs as well, you should check those out. (Hope i spelled that right... Lol)
I laugh every time I hear someone talk about the grain orientation in an axe handle. I fought forest fires for 10 seasons and we had axes with all kinds of handle wood orientation. I never had one break or crack and we used them every day all day. I also grew up using an axe from the time I could swing one to chop kindling and then many many cords of firewood a year as that was our only heat in an old block structure that had zero insulation. We cut firewood every weekend growing up and then us youngsters had to split it all in the evenings after our other farm chores. I think it's how a person uses an axe that matters more than the handle.
Hello there Mr. Oldclunker and thanks for joining in, much appreciated. Well, I see you are very well experienced in the world of Axes. And I guess you would be the one with the experience to debunk the Grain Theory. Thanks for your input and Stay Safe.
Where do you call home in Virginia? I'm up here in the Shenandoah Valley area. Looks like you had a great time out in the woods. I will be retiring next month and going to start doing more camping.
Hey there Mr. Oldclunker. I am in Northern, VA. I have been in the Shenandoah Valley area, and it is beautiful. Is that near Rapid Wildlife Management Area? Let me know when you're retired, perhaps we can do some camping. Stay Safe.
👍
