Great video of the Torch Lake! I heard #7 ran today until about 2 due to brake issues and so Torch Lake pulled the first train for the rest of today. Diesel is pulling the second train.
#7 has been fighting this brake problem since her air compressor rebuild a couple years ago and I am varry tired and frustrated with this problem I wonder if something was miss machined because she was running just fine before the compressor rebuild #7 may need a nother compressor rebuild if this problem continues I wish I could get a hold of the mechanics and tell them to re measure the compressor parts I am pretty confident that there was a mistake dearing the rebuild
That sounds like it could as well be the case. #7 ran very reliably during the 2019 season, and did not run during the 2020 and 2021 seasons due to budget constraints. In 2022, #7 ran mid-June but ended its run short of Independence Day. Hoping to get it back on track in August, its issue was still unresolved, so its run was delayed until end of August, in which it would finish off the season. In 2023, #7 ran from Father’s Day weekend through mid-July and that was it.

Interesting, I never knew it was brake issues. And it stopped running at about 11:30. Ill have a video up eventually about this.
@@Michrailfan I feel that this has always been the case whenever something was up with #7. I look forward to your video!
@@brianwu2697 thanks! I’ll try to get it done as quickly as possible

How is she still running? I thought the compressor was bad!
