I’d love to see more videos like this and if you enjoy teaching, maybe you could do a beginner friendly series in the future as well? Your sculpture is exactly the type of piece I would be interested in creating (eventually) so I’m intrigued to see how one would approach getting there. I do have knowledge of anatomy and I enjoy drawing portraits and painting as well so I’m sure that would be helpful for a beginner 😏

Thanks for this explanatory video, it was just what I needed. I am a self-taught sculpture amateur partly thanks to people who share their knowledge in help of others. I always thought that the process of making the ears would be the worst, but to my surprise I managed to make them almost effortlessly and with quite good results. In the case of the eyes, they are very complicated for me and I am very frustrated, in some cases even disassembling a practically finished sculpture.... In this video I understood some things that I previously did not take into account when modeling eyes. Thank you very much I send you a greeting from Malaga south of Spain :)

@@JamesMatthewASMR I agree that you have to trust the process. I use a wire armature and it looked ridiculous in the beginning but after what seems like a century, it now looks somewhat how I intended it to.

Ears are a pain at first but not too bad once you get the changes in planes, eyes are a massive pain though 😂 glad it helped
