- 2 months previously we had left the dozer with a seized engine. Was quite an effort but we got it free and started!

I ve known of a bloke who got an old starter moter and made it so he could use a 3/4 inch drive ratchet to turn engines over would been handy for you .R

Put your turning tool in the starter hole
Wow it's been parked there for 15 years I'm sure that that gas is not good
This guy is going at it all wrong. There is a very easy way to free up the stuck engine. Just pull out all of the injectors and pour in some good penatrating oil into each hole and then let it set for a few days.
Sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to hear that Cat motor roar into life.I was hoping you would have removed the fuel filter and filled it with diesel.Any way good job she will go soon.

Boy I hate to be a know it all especially because I not but have always been told never use either with the glow plug because it can explode but you sure have given me hope I have a 1948 Farmall M that I bought years ago and I have been pouring winter diesel in to the spark plug holes 2wice a year for the last 3 years maybe I should try to pull start it but I am scared I will bend a rod 😀🇨🇦

Just loosen the lines on the pump till some fuel dribbles out after the engine is unstruck. Saves lo0ts of cranking.

Good job getting it unstuck, you should of cleaned tank filters , pulled primer apart repaired and bled it properly that was painful.seeing all that aerostart and starter motor winding over like that.
