I have been a big fan for some years now. Joe Lycett is one of those celebrities people really can look up to. Look at this man. The work he has done helping people with his show that calls out businesses that take advantage of people. The stances he has had on many things as an incredibly right wing man, of course. He has been a care worker so he must understand the state of things with social care services as he had to stand up and help his friend. He is truly a good person inside, unlike so many people we give microphones to and put their faces on the TV. I support him in his anger at these clowns and thank him for ridiculing them as they should be ridiculed.

Politicians will never understand comedy because they don't understand why they're such easy material.
It still amazes me that the press, even a lot of the left leaning press, seemed fine with Liz Truss having a plan to sort out the energy crisis but won't tell anyone what it is unless they make her PM and even then she'll need a week before she can tell us.
I imagine it does happen but do most people think it would be a good idea at a job interview to use that sort of tactic "I'm not going to tell you how, but if you hire me I'll definitely solve your biggest problem."
Let's for one crazy moment, assume that's a perfectly normal strategy, the cost of living crisis is already here, it's already hurting people, how about "You know what? I have a plan that I am so confident will work I'm going to tell everyone right now before I've got the job so that those that decide the next PM will see that I'm the right person for the job and even if they go in another direction my plan can still be implemented regardless because it's what's best for Britain even if it doesn't get me the job I want."

Anyone who clearly annoys Laura Kuerensberg [apologies for misspelling her name] with simple truths through sarcasm is onto a winner. She, like quite a few in the BBC news and politics department in recent years is a massive Tory and lets her biases get in the way of her job.
Well, if you want serious political commentary on your programme, it's probably not wise to invite a comedian on, is it? I thought Joe Lycett was remarkably reserved in his comments. What with this and the recent 'Have I Got News For You' Boris Johnson special, I bet the Daily Mail and Daily Express readers are absolutely fuming. What a shame.

One takeaway of the umpteenth viewing was it has taken me more than half my life to get enough education to truly follow some of the dialogue in that movie.
