    Hi guys,
    Today I made corn cheese scones.
    It's a scone that has a sweet and salty taste at the same time.
    The rich flavor of corn and cheddar cheese is so addictive.
    Sugar glaze is the secret weapon of this recipe. Do not omit it.
    ▶ Ingredients (yields 6 Scones)
    -160g cake flour, 40g bread flour (you can use 200g of all-purpose flour instead)
    50g Unsalted butter,
    5g baking powder
    40g sugar
    2g of salt
    100g heavy cream
    30g egg
    70g cheddar or American cheese
    55g canned corn
    -Glaze: 5g Egg White, 15g Powdered Sugar
    -Extra cheddar or American cheese for topping
    1) Sift the cake flour, bread flour, baking powder, sugar and salt on a workbench.
    2) Add the cold butter cut into cubes and chop it with scrapers until the size of the butter is about a grain of rice.
    3) Add cold heavy cream and eggs and mix as if cutting the dough using scrapers.
    4) If you can hardly see the powder, add cheddar cheese and corn and mix lightly.
    5) Once you roughly made a loaf, cut the dough in half, overlap them vertically, and press again. Repeat the same process three times.
    This process is about making flaky scones. If you do not want to create a pie-like texture, you can just omit it.
    6) Wrap the dough with plastic wrap and make it flat about 2cm thick.
    7) Let the refrigerator rest for at least 1 hour until the dough hardens.
    8) Divide the hardened dough into 6 pieces.
    9) Mix the amount of egg white and powdered sugar to make a glaze.
    10) Apply glaze on the top of the scones and sprinkle with extra cheddar cheese.
    9) Using air fryer, Bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius, turn it over and bake for another 10 minutes. (Oven: bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius)
