This video provides a discussion of basic Intarsia made on a flat lap and then shows numerous examples of creative solutions others have devised to make their own Intarsia machines.
Thanks SO MUCH for the lessons. I'm retired and starting my lapidary hobby. Picked up an old, very old, B-10 Highland Park and restoring. Love the idea of the polisher turned Intarsia. Big Bertha, as I call her, will be retrofitted. Love the lessons, and will be watching more.
It's like nobody has a channel like yours. Thanks for the information that could only be learned in person. The knowledge you have is priceless thanks, Quentin
I facet now, but started by cabbing. I kinda lost interest with it. However after seeing your production, I am by all counts re invigorated. Thank very much for sharing your experiences and machine adaptations. I still have my 8" Hi Tech and look forward, with great enthusiasm, to adapting and crafting.
Loved my time there. Will come back. Bill Roberts is the best teacher

Hi Bill. Thanks for the video. Do you have any follow up on the contraption designed for the ameritool?
Where do you find the lap blade on the tile saw? I have the tile saw but I’m at a loss as to what to put on it.
