You are very technical, to be sure! I was not aware of the different types of manufacturing of ball joints! AC Delco joints? I never knew they manufactured ball joints!
Great video Don, In the end which ball joint manufacturer did you think was best? Maybe I missed it, why did you go back to the original control arm over the tubular after markets ones
@@quadepaul2169 The Tubular ones were not suitable for street use. Heim joints are not made for street use. The most miles traveled before they started squeaking was 600 and that was with the better joints and protective boots. The modified OEM arms will go till they wear out, probably 100k miles. I ended up using the “no name” brand purchased from open tracker. They are the ones removed from the Scott Drake arms they purchase and modify for racing. The best ones were the OEM style built by AC Delco with the 2 piece ball and stamped steel body.
I learned a lot watching this one. Thanks Don.
You’re welcome. I’m glad you got something out if it, makes me happy.
great video thanks
Thank you…

Didnt bother me.

I wasn’t either, the only reason I went after the ball joints was discovering ones I bought wouldn’t work.
Thanks for watching.
