The words top, bottom, sadist and masochist used in this context DO NOT relate to any sexual terms. I was trying to convey that these terms are meant as in joking manner as I have included a note at 2:46. In Japan, the word sadist and masochist do not carry sexual connotation in most contexts. Calling someone a sadist usually means that the person like to bully others, and being masochist means that the person enjoys being bullied (not in sexual way). Therefore, what Kanato meant was he likes to make fun of other people but he also likes being made fun of, in joking manner.
The reason I decided to translate the word ドS (sadist) andドM (masochist) to top and bottom respectively was because I thought that the terms top and bottom are taken more lightly and understood better in general context compared to sadist and masochist since the words sadist and masochist seem to be heavily connected to BDSM.
I apologise if my translation caused misinterpretation. I do not have any intention to mislead viewers into thinking Kanato was talking about sexual terms. On the contrary, I tried to avoid it. I am deeply sorry if I failed to do so.

Edit: like you can be a top and be an "M" or you can bottom but be an "S".

You're right! At least from what I understand, top/bottom is just about the position. But what I think translator-san (thank you so much for all your hard work! ❤️), meant is that the S and M banter here is similar to how top/bottom jokes are like in English-speaking fandom? Please correct me if I'm wrong too ^^
As I mentioned in the note at 2:46 , I was trying to convey that in this context, the words sadist and masochist are used just like how the words top and bottom are used in joking manner. By which, I mean that they do not relate to anything sexual.
To simply put it, people say "you're a bottom" to someone who's easy to make fun of, and likewise tell people "I'm a top" to make it seem like they're not one to be made fun of easily.

However it seemed that I failed to do so, and I apologise if that made you think I was trying to spread false information.
