This was unreal for me. Spent my first 33 years in Euclid, Ohio. I had sooooo many landmarks off Euclid Ave. First home off 260th, 2nd home off Chardon, went to Lakeland Community College on Rt. 306 off Euclid Ave. worked at General Electric Nela Park on Noble Rd off Euclid Ave., baptized in Trinity Cathedral on Euclid Ave. and much more. It's really changed. 55th st didn't look as spooky. Is it still dangerous? Alot looks so different, I feel kinda disoriented now, reminiscing my past. I live in another state now but have many good memories of Cleveland, Ohio, place of my birth and birthplace of my first 2 children. Oh yeah, hospital was right off Euclid Ave, Booth Memorial Thank you for this!
I really enjoyed this video. I haven't been on the roads since lockdown and I was pleasantly surprised to see that East Cleveland got Euclid Ave. redone between the border and Superior Ave., with new lights to boot. Thanks for sharing!
@@UrbanVisuals bring em! I just moved to Cleveland. Now living in Euclid-Green neighborhood. Trying to learn the city and area more. Never even been here before coming. Totally random choice and spontaneous move. Got an apt and took a chance when I landed here. Lol enjoying it so far tho…. Not the greatest neighborhood but it works for now. Will eventually go more west. Lakewood or something. Anyway. I enjoy watching the tours of the city! Bring some with Euclid and Green Road ?? That area ?? Thanks!
It’s amazing that at one point all of those tall buildings on Euclid Ave and the commercial / CSU district were not even there, it was Millionaires Row lined with the finest mansions and Millionaires that the world knew of.
Along that route are the oldest church in Cleveland, the oldest standing structure in Cleveland, the property that gave us the supreme court case that defined zoning in the US, and my first home. Among many other things

I just read that the first electric traffic light was installed at Euclid and 105th! I ride my bike through that intersection frequently and had no clue about the history I was missing out on that whole time!
