I tried with the tool and it was a no go. I installed the kit, but the tool does not compress the oem bushing enough to install it. I had to use a hose clamp to get the bushing started to go in.
How much HP can the rennfix kit handle? I plan on going stage 2 custom e50, on my x3m, I should be around 700hp roughly. Just wondering if the rennfix is better or if I should go with the eirhorn egg bushing.
We don't know the limit yet, currently testing in the UK at 1000 hp. will make a video and report the results of all tests currently underway. I have it on my car at 601 hp with zero issues.
Thank you so much Clint; this explains alot. Fighting to have this issue addressed by BMW Corporate
What’s family The link for the bolt saver bushing not working
Why would they design it to fail? Especially since it seems that even with a stock setup, it's vulnerable.
They make millions on replacing the bolts. I have spoken with people who have replaced theirs more than once.
Good content and well spoken
Do you plan on making a video installing your kit, using the bars that you plan to offer?
