Great video David. Curious why you like to use a dropper for the weight considering the live scope can show you how close to the bottom you are. Thanks!
My dropper isn't intended to feel the bottom before my gear. In fact, at 4-5 inches the flasher rotation will generally hit the bottom before the cannonball. It feels like it's easier to stow the cannonball with this short dropper but that is simply a personal preference on my part.
Hi David, great show as always. After fishing with you and watching this video I have decided to get a live scope. I have a question. What are your thoughts about a transom mount compared to a pole mount like you use and what mount would you recommend to mount the transducer?
A friend of mine runs the XR lvs62 but he focuses on the ocean. I'm not sure that I could give you a good reason to use that Transducer in the Columbia.
I have seen the Hummingbird Mega live in action. Only downside to Hummingbird is that when you get near other boats or water in general, it’s tends to get cloudy
Nice David. Bright fish this late in October. Good to see.
It was a pleasant surprise. Maybe we should have bought a lottery ticket that day.
Great job David! Nice to see you out there
Looks like some late-season fun. Thanks for sharing David!
Thank you for watching, Hank. It's very late in the season but I wanted to do one more "friend" trip to see if I could get some Live Scope footage.

@DavidPyle Understood. Thanks David.

Just give me a call and I should be able to give you some good ideas.
Okay, thanks.
Great work as usual Dave, thank you for doping out the live scope for us!
Do you see any advantage for salmon trolling in the columbia for the more powerful XR lvs62 or no?

Thx David.
Which livescope are you running the lvs 34??? Thx
I'm using LVS34.
