This dismissal is awesome. Parliament must be made to understand that work and only work is to make laws. If they have made the laws necessary to hold CS and other civil servants and bring them to justice, then the it is a legal process that outside the ambit of parliament. If parliament want to follow up on corruption by civil servants like they accuse Linturi for, then the institution they should summoning to parliament is the DCI and the DPP for failing to prosecute the alledged corruption of CS Linturi. Parliament must stop this populist drama of summoning alledged criminals to parliament to look as if they are fighting corruption. I think the part of the constitution we need to amend is the clause that gives parliament power to impeach. It's the most misused and abused part of our constitution by the very parliament that swore to protect the constitution. People should be in police custody or in remands awaiting hearing of serious economic crimes not in parliament pleasing the cannibal appetite of our MPs for media limelight. Impeachment has never stopped corruption or any crime for that matter. It's prosecution that does and parliament CANNOT and never will prosecute
