absolutely losing it at the idea of a randomizer where runners recommend the experience of jumping into it without bothering with the vanilla/casual game first. truly a specific type of hilarity that only DK64 could manage
The ability to switch Kongs on the fly makes this game infinitely more enjoyable. Sure it may trivialize some of the challenges, but the time it saves on backtracking is massive.
I think this is one of the games that could be fully fixed with a remake. (So the kind of game people actual should remake) The remake could make Kongs switchable unless you are in a room where you have to use a certain kong (or forbid manuell switching in rooms kongs have to reach in a special way.) Make the photo minigame available without meeting the fairy first. Add stats and maps. That show you excacly what you still can find. And mark big Bananas, Fairys and blueprints with questionmarks if you talk to the grandmas (or the kong face if you have found it but not collected) Add a banana radar for mini Bananas if you have reached a certain trashhold and can't find the last ones. Increase the render distance. Overall I think Donkey Kong 64 has a very good game hidden under it's flaws. But Rare as well as Nintendo both put it away under the rug. There is no E-shop version for this game. And Rare replay also skipped it. It's a pity.
To be fair it took me multiple years to beat pufftoss (the giant pufferfish boss) on my own, used to have to have my friend do it but i could beat the factory boss and he couldn’t so fair trade

14 minutes in: Keiper uses lanky's gun to free tiny
2 hours later: "I don't have Lanky's gun"

Most entertaining GDQ vid I've seen in a while. Thanks for sharing!

It was released on WiiU Virtual Console
Rare Replay skipped it because it's a Nintendo IP.
They couldn't use it
Such a great run! Always love the duo runs. And I never even considered the possibility of DK64 being randomized
Awesome run!! So proud of you Keiper, keep it up!
People are so fast to hate on my favorite childhood game in these comments. I wanna spread the love for Dk64! This game is still great!
Nice to see you guys again!
Cool. It’s a versus. It’s one of my favorite formats for a video. I never thought of DK 64 being randomized it’s really cool.
2:29:45 Keiper and Spike tell Sky about dumping and what makes it satisfying
Glad to catch this early. Love dk64 one of my childhood staples!
This was amazing. ☺️💛 Good job Keiper & Spike!!!
To be fair it took me multiple years to beat pufftoss (the giant pufferfish boss) on my own, used to have to have my friend do it but i could beat the factory boss and he couldn’t so fair trade
I made the same trade with my dad, I beat his factory boss and he beat my pufferfish. For some reason the fish freaked me out more then the clown
This is my first time seeing this game and it seems pretty cool
Is there a loud hum for any one else?
Yeah I hear it to
Yes! I believe it was Keiper's game audio that went banana (no pun intended).
Someone's mic was picking up a lot of extraneous background noise. Production dude fixes the audio at around the 1:22:00 mark.
Sounds like a fan to me, idk
I wouldn't be surprised if dump was influenced by odyssey, since longer catagorys have moon dumps.
THANKS
24:55 Haha, denied

"Presencial" Do you mean physical? In person? Happened recently, SGDQ was an in-person affair with a few remote runners on top
