- This is the 1st mission of the fan made Campaign by Concolor1, Re-Engagements. The story line takes place directly during the events of Red Alert2 mission Polar Storm. This means it takes place before Yuri's Revenge.
The first mission can be tricky if you don't know what you are doing. In this play-through tried to make a long-play by capturing the enemy base but run into a bug and wasn't able to end the game. I restarted the mission playing it as it was supposed to but still was unable to complete it.

The Sentry Guns near the bridge are part of the Soviet base, a firesale once you destroy the MCV and other important Soviet buildings could really make this mission a lot better

Fire sales make everything better. I can't think of a reason why you would want to not have one in a standard "build up your base and army and destroy the enemy base" mission. Having to manually kill everything is so tedious. You can't even use waypoints to finish off bases, because then your units ignore infantry that are left behind by destroyed buildings and get killed.
The base includes any sentry guns. The ones by the tech lab and the ones guarding the bridge. Had you of destroyed those you would of been able to teleport.

Great idea for a mission and love how these fan made campaigns build on the official ones. It’s basically a reimagined version of “Personal War” from the Red Alert 1 expansion packs.

Even though this is just the first episode of the allied campaign, do not worry, I can wait for the next episodes, take care and have fun!

Good job on the vid. It's sad to see missions with sequence breaking like this. Although me before anyone else should show more understanding on this as custom missions are not an easy job to balance, I do think that the stability of a mission's sequence and clarity of the objectives to player is more important than anything else and should be prioritized in the design process. Not to undermine the hard work that went into this, on the contrary I can see how much work was put into this and it is vastly appreciated, I just wish next time there's more attention to sequence breaking stuff and clarity to player's objectives.
Seems like the two Sentry guns are part of the Soviet Base. But the main objectives don't mention destroying the base. Anyway.

I'm uncertain what would have caused the mission to not count the base objective. Perhaps it also counts all the sentries/forces placed on the map?
As it seems sentries are also part of the base.
I think you also needed to destroy the sentries around the map as they acts as buildings.

Why are there so many amazing RA2 custom campaigns? Every other game has nothing even close
fun fact, its actually possible to keep your base alive. mostly. you can save a warfactory and barracks aswell as the ore ref
Before the "speedrun" attempt in the video you could move tanya to the south of the "marker" it's little bugged trigger she would have teleported and gg

i have seen horrible made missions in RA and RA2 before but this one takes the [crap]cake ...
Imagine if in this mission you need to destroy all soviets
I actually defended my base against those Soviet tanks. Tanya's anti vehicle weapon played a major role here.
Also I went for 4-5 IFVs for repairing and 2 BFs to push.
Tanya inside IFV for elite and send it back to base to shoot down those Kirovs.
Although Concolor1 said there's a Nuke crate hidden somewhere, I've never found it.
Doubt the the bridge to be repaired is scripted

Btw with the new voice AI going around, that elevenlabs, wouldn't it be possible to have actual voiced briefing before the mission starts? Is it hard to add voicefiles to the custom map?
Yes, have to hire someone for voice, and maybe you dont have enough tool for that. Moreover, easy to make game crash, unable to play
@@DanielNguyen2003 Voice is not really an issue, with that AI. I already tried it. It's already going rounds in meme channels, funny posts with a certain character's voice. But it's also very good to give a voice for mods. And in this case, it could really well substitue Lt Eva at the start.

Just played this Mission
and it has a mission sequence bug
because if you put Tanya inside time rift first without destroying all Soviet Base
the whole mission sequence does not give Mission Accomplish even you finish destroy Soviet base, put Tanya again into the time rift for the second time
But what is left of the soviet base?

I can't get the campaign to play. I extracted the files from the description and when I load Yuri's Revenge it just plays the original campaign.

Chrono doesn't work with soldier.
It work with vehicles .
Put Tania in vehicle thin put the vehicle in the chrono area.
