- After spending a whole day at Karon Beach, I quickly realized it's one of my favorite areas to spend a relaxing, more private day. With 5kms of beach, there is no shortage of space for yourself. Besides the beach, I also show where a Police Checkpoint usually is and where you can relax at some new beach clubs in Karon.

Nice Brenny, another great and informative video topped off with some lovely drone shots. Bit stiff about running into the check point, you should have sent the drone up for a recon first. That refreshing long neck Leo reminds me of the good ol days, extremely enjoyable spot.

Stayed at Karon beach years back on the side of the hill during monsoon season when that entire strip from Karon to Kata had literally 3 or 4 hotels on it. Amazing!

I spent a week at the Meir Jarr in 2020 right before the pandemic outbreak, great 👍 pool for sure.
The pool was the highlight 🤙
Nice video, Tann terrace is a great place to relax and have a coffee or cocktail, it´s a little pricy but it gives a very good view of south Karon. Zippy looks ok but 160 baht is expensive, even for a beach club, considering it´s next to the street... theres a ton of better ones in the north, but fair review. Meir jarr looks good, more south of Patong so very good for otop.
Yes it was expensive for a beer, they did have deals where you could buy 4-5 beers for cheaper but I only needed one. And yes I enjoyed that hotel!
This is great that you were asked to do hotel reviews ... Love hotels with rooftop pools 😃 ... I do like your beer bars videos though 😆 ... Karon certainly changed alittle with the beach clubs both were cool , so thanks for showing , I will visit Karon via the Phuket Smart Bus , check it out the Phuket Smart Bus and possibly do a video for tourist to have an alternative transport to renting a vehicle 😀

@@Brennybrez Yes just input Phuket Smart Bus ... The bus starts at Phuket Airport goes to several locations on the west coast ends at Rawai on the east coast ... most you pay one-way is 170 Baht and cheapest one-way is 50 Baht say Patong to Karon would be 50 Baht one-way and Phuket Airport to Rawai is 170 Baht ... the only downfall is you cannot wave down these buses they have bus stops ... in Patong opposite Bangla Road by the patong police box on Patong Beach Road there's a bus stop it's a blue sign with white writing this bus takes to north west coast ... for a bus to south west coast you go past sleep with me hotel you'll see bus sign post by Patong electricity department before the shopping malls ... you can pay on the bus cash or buy a Rabbit Card ( per pay card ) was 400 Baht with 100 Baht taken off for Rabbit Card fee leaving 300 Baht to spend ... you can top up the Rabbit Card at McDonald's and other shops you'll see all the information on the Phuket Smart Bus website ... don't forget to print off or screenshot the bus timetable and price list

International drivers permit is just a permit used to translate your own license, at any road checkpoint that’s all you need whether it’s for vehicle or motorbike you’ll be ok

Why don't you get the International license? As a Canadian, I think you just fill out the form and pay like 25$ and that's it! (as long as you have regular driver license)

I love watching your videos. But I don't think Karon beach is very suitable for families. You don't want to let your kids swim in a water that gets deeper very quickly!
