5 to 6 trolleys are now officially operating on the 49 Van Ness/Mission, everyday (on Blocks 4901-4906). This was a part of the service changes that took place on January 7th, along with the K and T splitting up their routes, and a new TBUS route as well.
On this ride, only myself and several passengers were onboard. Right when the bus turned onto Mission, I can already see the earlier 49 bus that is ahead of us, making this one extremely empty.
You may ever question, why are they not putting trolleys back on the entire 49 route? A simple answer to this question: There is not enough operators in the Potrero Division that allowed them to do so. If you watched my previous videos, there are constantly different other divisions helping out Potrero covering missing runs.

Yep, there are some running before January 7th but only happens on weekdays with 2 coaches

@@muni_Thomas_boi Yea each day there will be around 5-6 of them out. But until full route becomes trolley that will take a while

Are there extra exterior speakers? The route announcements seem very loud.

Nah, it’s just that this bus got super loud speakers lol
