I saw this the other day on my walk across the carquinez bridge leaving Vallejo and was curious about it

It’s confirmed that there are LRV3’s on the L line!

Maybe it's just me but why do the trains seem to go so slow in the tunnels I swear a couple years ago they used to be flying in the tunnels now they move the trains as if they're scared of the rails what happened?

When I was a kid we would ride to the zoo, but first eat at Doggie Diner because the food at the zoo wasn’t any good. 😂

The door closing tone sounds like a dire alarm on march time

They were supposed to replace all the stop signs with preempted traffic lights. Did I misread that (i.e., were the stop signs that were to be replaced with traffic lights actually removed)? Also the traffic lights still aren’t preempted. The whole purpose of LRT is that traffic lights at street crossings are supposed to be rigged to favor trains. Otherwise, it’s not much different from being in your own car (besides the underground sections that is). California didn’t seem to get the message because LA’s light rail system has this same problem.

That operator was going extremely slowly. By the book, but slowly. Never broke 18mph… often was traveling below 10mph. No amount of signals or new platforms will improve that behavior. Need to automate speeds where possible.
