I think it’s fair if people just watch the video and then go by the truck. One problem with eBay is you may not get your money returned that you put into it. No need to cater to the whiners.
Dang! Art Center College of Transportation Design - Alumni Chris Bangle, Franz Von Holzhausen, Frank Stephenson, Wayne Cherry, Calvin Luk. - Coventry University Transport Design which trained the Callum brothers - and Harley Designs University. The other universities should a$k you to give them a lecture series, just like you give us every week!
I would love to see some auctions. Most of them will probably be out if my current budget unfortunately. It would be like a little Barret Jackson or Mecum of rc.
Oddly well timed. I got my Ibex out for a run Sunday morning. First time it's ever done a trail-run. For a 9lb chassis it actually survived with an RTR ESC/45t and 3s. Most importantly I now know what it needs from Holmes.
The trucks that have been sold from this series for far have been pretty reasonable. The other two trucks listed are my nationals comp builds and not representative of the series.
It was quite convenient to find them in that bag on the same day I needed them for this truck! I probably would have just scrapped the TA idea if they weren't in there.
Love all the work also Josh but where do you find a $50. dollar tube chassis that just doesn't exist up here in Michigan... Oh yeah I took your advice and bought the 2021 TRX Bronco.... Glad I Did. Getting wheels and such today and the rest 9f the week. Light kit was easier than expected ..THX RC Crazy of Michigan..
You know, some Vanquish Twin Hammers Trailing arms might be just the thing, And if you're going to set up a machine to do those, make a couple of extra sets please 😂
Yes exactly, it just allows the light to be reflected in a more predictable and even way. It’s also much cheaper than the official “developer” spray they sell for high end scanners.
@@HarleyDesignsInc its nice when you find an economical "hack" to a costly specialty product huh. Lookin forward to the rest of the builds. Especially the drift trike 🤘🍻🤘
Really enjoy this season. Please advise, in your opinion, which trailing arm set up suits the scx10 I best - Yeti or element length. Going aluminum on the trailing arms not looking for extreme articulation. Thanks so much for the data you decimate for the enthusiast.
@@HarleyDesignsInc Sooo I was wondering and it’s a long shot any chance of this Aussie getting a chance of buying, always been a fan of your work and would love the opportunity to own something you have done. What’s your thoughts 🙏
Most definitely!!! It would be cool if you go live at the start of the auction and then at the very end of it I know I would definitely bid and be watching the live feed! Keep ur the great work my friend!
I am a loving the tubers, getting lots of ideas for a future build. Steel-It aerosol coating is popular with the 1/1 offroad guys for their buggies and chassis parts. Have you tried it on an rc tuber yet?
Hello Inspector Gadget pocket Man Every video... I'm thinking of new ones hahaha. I for sure dig that element ish tube chassis. It's great to see a bomber haha. Miss mine... i want to do a ar44 1.9 bomber... Not sure how good that idea is though hahaha. Great work. I like watching how you go upon doing all this. Very cool.
@@HarleyDesignsInc Should have known it was just classic old hard work and effort. Was hoping for a shortcut! I'm guessing the RC groups you're following are in CA?
Maybe NOT Ebay. I hate that they take so much money from sellers and now this: "Starting on Jan 1, 2022, eBay and other marketplaces are required by the IRS to issue a Form 1099-K for all sellers who receive $600 or more in sales. The new tax reporting requirement will impact your 2022 sales and taxes that you file in 2023-it will not apply to your 2021 sales and taxes that you file in 2022."
You should just make enough trucks so we can all have one, Josh. Otherwise, how is this fair?
Has anyone claimed the channel name RC Oprah yet?
I’d love to see the eBay auction format for a couple, it would give more of us a chance at it vs being the first to see it.
Love the series!
I’m definitely going to give it a shot
Good show, like to see what other folks have built, and you value them.👍
Good use of the scanner, very cool tool!
I’m learning more and more about it each time.
Absolutely love this series. Fits in nicely with your Friday night live, the Wednesday live stream and scale news. Keep up the good work Josh.
And it’s just so much fun to tinker on new trucks constantly! I feel pretty lucky.
I like the idea of an auction!
I think it would be fun to watch an auction on ebay. Gives everyone a chance to possibly get one of your awesome trucks
I absolutely love this flip that truck show! Really hoping for a page for people to post the trucks you pass on so maybe we can get in on the fun
I don’t know how I’d do it yet, but I’ll keep considering it.
I'm digging the buggy with the tape mach up panels.
I seen the the sneak peek of the new truck on Friday’s show 🤣👍🏽

Good times had by all. Like button.
That’s awesome of you harley
Wait, you like tube chassis? News to me.
Still my favorite to date is the Woods Runner.
That was an amazing truck and belongs to a good friend of mine, Scale Crawler Fab Shop
@@HarleyDesignsInc that was a great episode. Fun seeing work done on those tubers.
I would definitely love to be able to bid on one of these trucks love to see it go up in auction for some of these trucks

We'll call it Barely Jackson
Perfect
Glad you decided to keep the trailing arm set up and I noticed you switched to yeti arms can't wait to see how it performs.
The longer arms are so much better for sure! I’m just glad they clear everything.
Love the longer trailing arms got a set on my trailrunner and it's a blast to trail. And it climbs alot better than you'd expect
It’s definitely the better setup for this truck! I can’t wait to get it complete.
Oddly well timed. I got my Ibex out for a run Sunday morning. First time it's ever done a trail-run. For a 9lb chassis it actually survived with an RTR ESC/45t and 3s. Most importantly I now know what it needs from Holmes.
Very cool. Nice job
Really enjoying this series.
Everything you build is awesome my man
Josh your going to have to do an episode dressed up as Kurt Russell's character from used cars!
I’m going to have to look that one up! I’ve never seen it, but love Kurt Russel movies.
@@HarleyDesignsInc it's a hoot!
Great idea to give the hood some definition!!! Enjoying the format of this video series, awesome job!!!
I can agree with you 100% Paul I think he moving his gold around to help cover the trike
I forgot to check the 3D print this morning, but I hope to form it soon!
The amount of money you want for these trucks is actually insane.
The trucks that have been sold from this series for far have been pretty reasonable. The other two trucks listed are my nationals comp builds and not representative of the series.
Dude, that rig looks tight!
I’m a fan!
Ebay battles!! 😆 🤣
I’m glad the spare trailing arms got put to use! Haha. I’d put a bid on the that gatekeeper rig for sure

I bought the cage off a KC Facebook page. Deals exist, you just have to search 😁

I actually have one set left, I had them anodized gold even just to be special. Those are gone forever...
love this series!
I’m having a blast with it.
That 3d scanner is extra cool. The dry soap acts as a contrast or reagent of sorts for the 3d scanner huh? 🤘y'all have a badass day🤘🍻🤘

Man I sure am diggin' this season of the FTT series. Seeing a lot of inspiration in the orherwise meh trucks hitting the bench.
There can be cool trucks hidden behind very plain looking rigs!
I’m really liking this one looks awesome already nice work mate 👍🏼
I think it’ll really improve with the details!

Dude I don’t think you understand how badly I want a tube chassis jeep almost like a ripper.
Tube chassis trucks are so much fun and a different level of scale!
Based on your cage design vs ultra 4, you really would have a rear engine setup.
There are a number of front engine rigs with this style cage. That’s where I pulled the design though from on the air cleaner.

Hello from southeast alaska how's your day going bro
Hello Inspector Gadget pocket Man

Not sure how good that idea is though hahaha.

Very cool.
I’ve seen a couple 1.9 bombers, they can definitely look good!
Where do you find the trucks to salvage and build?
Facebook or IG 95% of the time.
💯👍🏾
Man I hope you answer this. When do you get your screw kits at. I’ve gotta build up a supply.
I fill mine from a local bulk fastener supplier called Olander. But it's because we buy huge amounts at a time. So it's probably not very helpful.
Would you ship any outside US? (Australian Crawler here :) )
What software do you use for cad?
Fusion360
How much $ to powdercoat the tube-chassis?
I prefer paint over PC for cages. It’s easier to fix, and is thinner so it doesn’t look as bad when it’s scraped.
3d print rear engine
Where do you find all these?! All the used RCs I see online are clapped
People email him.
I do a lot of searching! The only one that I’ve bought thru an email offer so far is the White Yeti. All the others I’ve found in Facebook groups.
