Il Divo are such an amazing quartet. Carlos brings me to tears every time with the power of his vocals. Such an amazing talent...he will be forever missed 💔😭 Just realised I said amazing more than once lol. Please check out Adagio! That performance will blow you away!
The first time i heard this version was from their cd, when Carlos did his part it sent shivers down my spine, all these years later still does it. Ive not watched any of their later performances with Steven, the replacement singer, i just can't. To me, while all of them have outstanding voices, especially Sebastien and David, Carlos was the heart of the group. Simon Cowell did himself proud with Il Divo
They had me at the bagpipes. My mom and her family immigrated to New York through Ellis Island 1926 from Scotland. Grandpa ( i heard played bagpipes) mostly when drunk in the wee hours of the morning . Poor neighbors😂. I did miss the great deep operatic voice of Carlos. RIP. older performances with Carlos are the key. My opinion. You can never replace anyone musically if they were amazing. That's why Led Zeppelin disbanded. Chicago went soft rock when Terry Kath passed. I'm glad Chicago grp never tried . I don't know the new guy yet. So no opinion
Congratulations for your sobriety. You are both amazing, so the world need you both with all your senses. And you deserve to be sober and free from addictions for yourselves. Love you very much for the sincerity, you are beautiful people. Keep in that path. We love you and need you. Big hugs and kisses. Ana
Thank you so much for playing and reacting to my request. "Amazing Grace" is almost always accompanied by bagpipes or Irish Uilleann pipes because the Scottish Royal Guard recorded it in the 1970s using bagpipes. Many think it is a Scottish hymn, but it is, indeed, English, written by John Newton in the 1700s. I wish you and your family happy holidays.
Il Divo is amazing. Is heavenly. It was terrible that Carlos Marin lost is life to covid. I don't know who replaced him and, I never heard a song by them with the new member. Please react queen "Thank God it's Christmas", it's great and very suitable for the season. Big kiss. Ana
Their version of Amazing Grace was spectacular. For an amazing version of O Holy Night, please react to this during the holiday season: th-cam.com/video/ElJ0fiD0lkc/w-d-xo.html

Amazing grace-every day sober is amazing grace. It’s been 35 years and I feel it still like day 1.
Congratulations on your longterm sobriety. That is very inspiring! I am at 3.5 years now.
