Respectfully, I disagree with your opinion to going true to size with the Basketball I. I've got the original Carbon colour and I went half size up as recommended and even then it's a fairly snug fit, but it's still manageable. I have to imagine wearing my true size 9 would be quite unbearable

You gotta invest in some scotch guard bro! I spray it on all my light colored shoes that have fabric material and suede. Repels water and dirt, saved me on more than one occasion for sure!
