While I would say his diss advantage is not great in this meta he doesn’t have to worry about that as much because people are playing slower more campy players. And he’s great at wining time outs because of chip damage. In fact I bet banjo is going to start popping off real soon. He’s basically a poor man’s snake but with cheese wonder wing. Ironically Corrin is definitely new meta, character went from bottom 10 play-rate to top 20 in some areas. There are more than one good Corrin players popping off. Also Snake is resurgent, and arguably never fell off much because he had high usage rates in tournament, just less good wins until recently.

He has slow movement speed trust me, even on ground. Just dash attack burst option.
