Leonardo DiCaprio has a german mother. Sandra Bullock lived several years in Nuremberg and also has german relatives. Christopher Lee is known for many roles such as in Dracula or in Lord of the rings. He speaks fluently but is very modest. Djokovic is the best tennisplayer of the world. Donna Summer is a disco queen of the 70s and 80s. Pep Guardiola just won the Champions League title with ManCity.

Sandra Bullock crew up in Nürnberg for 11 years. That's why she have a South German Accent. Check out Sarah Chalke it's funny too as a German.

She is the daughter of either german mom or dad, and has visited Germany many times., that is why Sandra speaks german so well.

Don't be so hard on them, it's nearly impossible not to have an accent in a foreign language (for example you have a distinct accent when speaking English and that's absolutely fine). It's also not a big deal if the person makes some little grammar mistakes here and there. The most important thing is how well the person can understand the language and also how good they are at expressing their thoughts. So if I were you, I'd just be happy to see other people learning and speaking your language. Let's be positive.

I'm sure I have a super strong accent when I speak Japanese, just like my Japanese friends have in English, but all that matters is we can communicate, I think anyone appreciates the time and effort it takes to learn their language :)

Donna Summer was huge in the Disco era. She and the BeeGees were probably the biggest Disco artists in the world. Giorgio Moroder had a hand in most of her hits. She spent several years in Munich as a performer before getting famous.

Bullock was born on July 26, 1964, in Arlington County, Virginia,[1] the daughter of Helga Mathilde (née Meyer; 1942-2000), an opera singer and voice teacher from Germany, and John Wilson Bullock[2] (1925-2018), an Army employee and part-time voice coach from Birmingham, Alabama.[3][4][5] Her father, who was in charge of the Army's Military Postal Service in Europe, was stationed in Nuremberg when he met her mother.[6] Her parents married in Germany. Bullock's maternal grandfather was a German rocket scientist from Nuremberg.[7]

That was better than expected! In the meantime, youtubers: In Germany they say Entschuldigung. You prounounce it as: AUNTswolgdickgang! And it means "goodmorning". And germans say it everyday before they step into their cars. (I'm Dutch, but I break inside when they mess up the german language on youtube lol)

Well i don't know any english speaker that doesn't have an accent when it isn't their first language. Some are easier to understand than others. For some reason, i personally find germans have the least noticable accent when speaking english.

And Christopher Lee was 'Saruman' in Lord of The Rings .. and hundreds more good roles! As the "first real count Dracula".
And Leonardo DiCaprio reminded me about what Flake says in his book, 'Jeder Fan sagt mir, dass er Deutsch kann: Bratwurst, Leberwurst, Sauerkraut 🤭

Wow. I speak German well enough to have basic conversations, but I wouldn’t dare speak it in front of someone who is as critical as you are. Please don’t ever become a teacher of anything.

OMG...you dont know who donna summer is? Fair enough. You interests lie not in music. She is the queen of disco.
Christopher Lee said in response to the question where he learned german, that he never studied it officially and he seemed to have picked up the language while making films in german. The fact that he understood the question posed to him in german and answered it in german tells me he is fairly proficient.
Bud Spencer and Terence Hill were actors that make films in the 70's. Jean Paul Belmondo also did films at the time.
Did you live under a rock your whole life? How is it you only seem to know people of your own generation? No offense but you did go to school, yes?

7:54 we can clearly see u have no idea what u r talkin about. if someone really has "no idea" what he is reading there wont be any intonation and pauses at the complete wrong places, NONE of that applies here, so it is *untrue* that we would just read off cryptic Buchstabensalat without any idea what any of this is. and that was ur claim. sechs setzen! fähigkeit zu richtiger wortwahl bei der anfertigung von argumentationen ungenügend

I thought that when he said he did not know who donna summers is. But since i am a musician in my mid 50's ill cut him some slack as music might not be his thing. THen he goes on to christopher lee, whom he also does not know and that just takes the icing on the cake. He is only one of the most prolific actors of the 70's an d80's. He acted in some of the most iconic horror films there ever were and he even play a recurring role in the 2000 dated Lord of the Rings trilogy. That is when i really though the guy lives under a rock.
