@JohnCampfield It might be an alteration of it. There are many kinds of Kuku because it's such a strong foundation to African dance and music.

Thanks prettyyellagirl...ours was faster as well. The drummers picked up the rhythm fast, but not as fast as it is usually played. Thanks for the compliment!
