Soko - Part1.mov

Umoja was a collaboration that brought together 3 artist groups in the West African tradition - Voice of Culture, Duniya Drum and Dance, and Oyin Dance. The event was held at Caponi Art Park in Eagan, MN You can find more info at the events calendars at the artists and park websites (caponiartpark.org, voiceofculture.com, duniyadrumanddance.org). "Wild Scissors: Cut Loose!" is a series of presentations for the performing arts. Music, Dance, Drama are art forms that are "caught within the boundaries of time." In order to preserve these treasures, we commit them to digital form using a video production truck, provided by CTV15 in Roseville, MN. The crew are from CTV15 and BCAT16 in Bloomington, MN: Martha Low, Kevin Low, Emily Mahon, Jim Bird, Scott Englund, Dave Reynolds, and Gina Simmons.

We werecbought to America we wadnt taught our language or dances . I know we can try to learn it now but in. American spainish have became a second language..french or swahili or ebo should have because most Africans speak it.
