When Jedd Fisch walked through the door at Arizona in 2021, he espoused loyalty, family, building a legacy and "It's Personal". He said he wanted to make Tucson a football town like it is a basketball town. Less than 2 weeks ago, he told Jim Rome that he had no desire to leave Arizona, that he couldn't move his family for the 14th time, and that he had come to a mutual agreement with Arizona on a contract extension. 18 of the starting Arizona players didn't enter the transfer portal on the guarantee that Fisch would be there for 2024. And then in a matter of days, Fisch secretly signed a contract in his Tucson home with the Washington AD, and then had a 3 minute meeting with the Arizona players to say "I'm headed to Washington, there really isn't anything else to say." Fisch is a job jumper. Don't believe him for a second when he says he wants to be in Seattle for a long time. I don't know how he can look any recruit in the face and expect them to believe him from this point forward. You've been warned. #Snake
Yeah, well, we think the same thing about Kalen DeBoer. Sorry, we are a better program than Arizona. Just as Alabama is a better program than us. Welcome to sports
It’s the state of college sports, I don’t like it but it is what it is. Alabama is a better program than Washington, Washington is a better program than Arizona, and Arizona is a better program than San Jose State. I’m sure the San Jose fans feel crushed and betrayed as well.
Hey man, I feel really bad about your loss. But from the looks of things and the reporting I'm hearing is that you are going to keep your 2 big names in your QB and WR. I hate to say this, but with how many players for us have for the transfer portal, I was hoping they would follow him here. But I'm also happy for you guys if they stay. You guys were a problem last year, and I forsee you being the same this year if those players stay. I know this sucks and how you feel about Fisch is how we feel about DeBoer. College football has become an ugly business. I do hope you guys kick ass next year and don't feel his loss as bad as it feels right now. But I understand your anger and feeling of betrayal. Respect to you guys.
Coach how do you get through the day knowing you left all those Arizona players under the bus? And a follow up Why would any potential recruit to UW football ever be able to believe anything you have to say?
Sold his soul! U of A was going pay him. He preached longevity over one and done. Disgusting what he did to those kids. Parents beware. Wolf in a bad suit!
As a UW alum feeling the DeBoer sting still, I'm truly sorry that we did this to your team. This whole thing sucks. I hope you guys #BearDown and win a bunch of games in the Big-12 next season, seems like your awesome QB is staying with you, and I'm really happy for you guys for that! Again, sorry.
LOL All the comments about Fisch regarding loyalty, he’s going to leave in 2-3 years, how can he do this to the UA players. IT’S A BUSINESS. The sport part is secondary. GO DAWGS
More comments from angry AZ fans than UW fans. How do you feel about hiring a coach from a different university? They all say the same thing. I get it you've only had a couple days and you're still in shock. Don't put so much hope in these people and teams. They'll let you down every time.
Tucson is a "big" small town. Arizona Athletics are life here. We don't have professional teams like Seattle, so everyone here bleeds red and blue. Fisch came in talking about wanting to build a legacy, just like we had with Lute Olson (24 years), Jerry Kindall (23 years), Sean Miller (14 years), and Dick Tomey (13 years). We believed him when he espoused loyalty, family, building a legacy and "It's Personal". And then in a matter of days, he screwed everyone over and didn't have the decency to talk to the players. Us fans might be pissed, but we can't imagine how those young kids feel that he lied to.
@@tonys.8002 Iam A huskies fan, and listen to fish plenty of times talk about his team. The fact that he could leave his team like he did is a huge red flag. The guy is a dirt bag.

I think all head coaches do that.

@@jamesjackson2434Did coach Brennan go on the Jim Rome show pledging his loyalty to SJSU?
Looks like a Washington guy. Beat Alabama in the playoffs.
Excited!!
Enjoy covering him for the next 1-2 years 👍
Jedd looks tired, this transition has really taken a toll on him
Poor guy.
He will be your coach for 2 maybe 3 years....dont believe a word out of his mouth,,,he defines disengenuine....
We know he will take the Florida job next year but we’re happy for this year. Sorry about your loss

Yeah, we've seen this before, with Carl Devers, fled to Alabama like a rat from a sinking ship.
