      I’d still rather have expression control over the speed, or a two speed setting, than an effects loop, mix, dwell or reverb.
      Really, this would be an amazing Uni Vibe, if they had just traded the effects loop for expression pedal ability.

    Okay, okay enough!!! I just want a great sounding, authentic Univibe style pedal! I bought a Korg NuVibe a few years ago and I thought that would be great…until I heard your demos of the several Sabbadius Vibes (the Filmore and MasterMind being my favorites) and now this!!! I recently set up my pedalboard and now when I here my NuVibe, it doesn’t quite sound like I’d like it to be. RJ you definitely need to do another vibe shootout! Awesome demo!!🎸👍🏾🎸🎸🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾

    • @CorbCorbin
      @CorbCorbin 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sabbadius is the way to go. It’s worth the extra $100-$150 for his 68’ or 69’ with expression ability and a killer preamp, that can be left on while the effect is bypassed, or turned off if one doesn’t want it coloring the tone.

    • @jamalabdul2009
      @jamalabdul2009 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CorbCorbin Cool thanks!!! I haven’t listened to either the 68 or 69 , however they are the most available out there. Yeah I’m a fan of the foot pedal on a vibe, to change the intensity at a moment’s notice.

    🔊Strange thing happens ; all the current manufacturers of Uni -Vibe type pedals seem to source those “unique” and “rare” resistors ( thank you Krzysztof and CorbCorbin for your technical insight) needed to make this type of pedal‼️
    Because of this it seems to me that the supply of these “highly sought after” parts are not so rare anymore except for the price of the pedals their used in🤔 🔊Awesome demo RJ🎸

    • @krzysztofstokosa9786
      @krzysztofstokosa9786 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      actually, the bulbs are not difficult to get at all. It's the light dependent resistors that react to the bulb are hard to come by - there is very specific spec needed for the modulation to work as expected, only couple of manufacturers and very limited supplier list

    • @CorbCorbin
      @CorbCorbin 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s caps, resistors, etc., not the bulbs, as well as the circuit in general.
      Also, another big difference in say, a Sabbadius, is the preamp, which can be used with or without the effect. Those preamps make a big difference in a Uni Vibe.
