This is by far the easiest way to do the boho bag because of sewing the small top part of the strap first. The other ways are more confusing because if the lining doesn't match perfectly with the outside fabric it is a hassle when you get to closing the top part -- this is the BEST way to do it!!
I just made a boho bag that was constructed much differently. I must say that I love the way you made this bag. I've been looking for a new project and I love the way you put this one together. Great Job!! :)

You have some great tutorials. I want to make this for my daughter using a leather coat that I will deconstruct for the pieces. The leather coat is a beautiful Italian leather in a cream color so my daughter can always have a part of something my mom treasured from a trip to Italy. Arigatou Gozaimsau.

Rearranging and snipping to fit the base to the body can be avoided by putting a running stitch around the bottom edge of the body and drawing it in slightly. It's called 'easing' and doesn't create 'tucks' if you do it properly. A running stitch is done by hand, just in out, in out, in out, leave a tail to pull. Remove the running stitch after you've finished the machine stitching 🤗🤗🤗
