This is the story about one of my Grandma’s favorite relish recipes. Now when my Grandma made relish, she used cucumbers, yellow squash, sweet peppers, and Zucchini. She canned everything so it lasted a year or more on the pantry shelf. I can still smell her kitchen with all the spices and ingredients. It smelled wonderful, and she was just so busy stirring, mixing, measuring, and humming, one of her favorite church tunes. She was a Godly woman, and taught us about how the Lord loved us all even though none of us were perfect. Love ya Grandma and think about you and Granddad in Heaven often.
