Mike, this is terrific. I think the easiest way to get our students on board with the concepts we teach is to break down their practice sessions into focus pieces that they spend shorter amounts of time working on. You covered that well here.

Man - I wish you lived in the South of England - this is the best, easiest to understand golf instruction I have ever seen - would be great to have you watching though😀

Mike, I saw you on Mark Immelman's podcast and have been watching your TH-cam channel. QUESTION: you instruct to get the trail palm pointing away from the target at the top of the back swing. I'm not seeing that occur in your actual swing. Would you elaborate more? Is that a feel in a drill or without the club? I can't do that with both hands on the club unless I bow my lead wrist extremely. Thanks!

Are you feeling leftarm pull through or right arm under hand throw through…(or either!!)?
    Thank you

Once you have the leverage simply stand and face the target. Right hand arm is passive.

@skolvikings354 I drive the golf ball 200 yards I'm ready to quit. I hope this works. Thanks

Rhythm tempo and timing is just as important as mechanics. Find a club pro to help you improve.

Probably a wise idea as he or she will be able to spot exactly what is going wrong. I must be casting. Another idea I think is to go back to 1/2 swings and get that working. Thanks for the feedback. Happy holidays!

Great video. I watch you and Jonathan Elsdon (also You Tube) to my untrained eye you both seem to be talking about the same swing process.

Why do my arms look so sloppy after contact? I can’t fix it without feeling rigid

Exactly what I thought! It can't be that difficult. All you have to think about in the swing (they say), arms, legs, foot, shoulder, hands, wrist etc. Makes me swing like a robot. 😣
So I will try this tip tomorrow and beat my neighbor on the local 9 hole course! If so, it's the first time. 😀
