quality! I prefer barring the chords as much as possible because you can "funk them up". So, for example, the relatively difficult G minor 7th+9 to B flat minor 7th+9 is played so obviously as G/D/F/Bflat/D/A taken off to G then move the whole shape up 3 frets and repeat. Simples! And if you play the A minor 7th - B minor 7th - E minor 7th at 5th and 6th fret you can do some seriously easy hammer-ons to get even funkier! (plus a wee trip to 12th fret on the E minor).
