    Happy you started a channel! I'm sure there will be a lot of great info on here for all the suspension enthusiasts :) You guys should do a video on swapping Monster 937 suspension!

    Great stuff. Thanks for making the video. It would be good to make bike make/model videos. I have an MV Augusta 800RR in need of your kits but no videos to explain the process. Just a suggestion.

    • @AndreaniUSA
      @AndreaniUSA  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes, unfortunately, not all bike forks are the same, so the instructions are different and of course getting in a set for each bike is almost very hard. Especially for older bikes. Keep in mind we got over 500 applications through the years, so not an easy task, but will work on something similar soon.

    Great video,i will soon do this on my Multistrada when the cartridge kit arrives. I have never removed the cartridge before,do I need a tool in order to hold the cartridge ? To keep it from spinning in place when trying to tighten it/loosen it?

    • @AndreaniUSA
      @AndreaniUSA  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Thank you for purchasing an Andreani Misano fork kit for your Multistrada. We honestly suggest that a professional works on your suspension if you've never done it before.
      All of our fork kits do come with a basic installation manual and we are here to offer advice. Regarding the Multistrada (there are different years, and kits to fit the different bikes). There is no cartridge holding tool needed for this bike.
      The base bolt needs to be threaded in and torqued to the spec for each model.
      For further information, Please feel free to contact us directly at 828-435-0125 and ask for David.

    Hi,does it matter in which fork i install the compression and rebound cartridge? Instructions don't say anything about left/right fork importance

    • @AndreaniUSA
      @AndreaniUSA  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @TheCvac, Actually it does not. But with aftermarket cartridges it also depends on how your forks are built. Sometimes you're obliged to have the cartridge in a certain position but in that case it's written in the manual. That said if your manual doesn't say, you can put them in which ever position you prefer. However the motorcycle industry standard is, Compression cartridge on the left and rebound cartridge on the right.

      @@AndreaniUSAthat is one of the confused things we see as customers... Write it down in the manual!

    • @AndreaniUSA
      @AndreaniUSA  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@EnriqueGonzalez-iu3so . Every fork is different and if your fork requires a specific assembly position, it'll be mentioned. It mostly depends if the OE forks have specific configurations that do not allow an Industry standard install. However the motorcycle industry standard is, Compression cartridge on the left and rebound cartridge on the right

    Question, I received my kit but the springs don't have the logo mark as I see in this video minute 0.43... all the sprongs should be with the Andreanis Logo isn't????? Should I need to call the Beemershop and ask them ??

    • @AndreaniUSA
      @AndreaniUSA  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good morning Enrique. Your kit is one of the oldest one we do and it uses a unique series of springs, that's why they are not marked. Your rate is 58. In other Misano Evo cartridges we got a huge variety of spring rates, so that's why they are marked. Your cartridge is one of those where we use just that configuration of length and internal ID, so it does't need the spec on it.

    Could I ask a question please? Should the adjustment rod be removed during the bleeding/oil filling stage? I left it in place and I’m wondering if I need to re-do. Thanks!

    • @AndreaniUSA
      @AndreaniUSA  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      You did it right, adjustment rod needs to stay inside while you move the shaft up and down to bleed/fill.

      Good morning. The Xmax 300 cartridge is mainly sold in Europe and Asia. I would suggest you in this case to write directly in Italy to request if such modification is possible. 30mm is a lot to reduce. Write an email at info@andreanigroup.com

    Ive had this kit installed on my 2008 Honda vfr800. Are the forks meant to hiss loudly whenever they compress and rebound. Even riding with the exhaust noise i can clearly hear this happening

    I've found the kit on my triumph tiger 800xc blows through pretty easily on a high speed hit. Such as hitting a large rock or rut. I can feel the compression adjuster working on the slow side compression wise. Is there anything I can do for the high side? I also seem to have lost 1 inch of travel compared to the stock forks. Sag is set correctly, and everything seems fine until a larger hit.

    If it says "Cartridge Kit" (105 / K41E, if you're asking), that's including springs too? Also - and I'm not complaining here - but why is it only $600?

    • @AndreaniUSA
      @AndreaniUSA  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Yes it’s including springs too. Andreani produces the 20mm piston cartridges since almost 20 years. The product evolved through the years with new features and better materials. But the reason why the price cap is not as high as many would expect is because of the modular system that Andreani built around it. We reduced as much as possible the waste of materials and can keep in that way a good production cost and that reflects also the final customer price.

      Good morning Terlos, where are you from? Maybe I can find one fo our service centers or other branches reach out to you. Please send an email at info@andreaniusa.com and please tell us what bike it is and what kit you did installed. Thanks

    I got them today. No one will touch these to work on them.

    • @AndreaniUSA
      @AndreaniUSA  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Actually there are several dealers of ours, (suspension shops), that do sell and install them too. Normal mechanics won't as it requires some suspension knowledge to install any cartridge kit but ours are not different from other brands when it comes to installation. ON our website www.andreaniusa.com -> About -> Dealers you can filter service centers.

    • @joek81981
      @joek81981 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @AndreaniUSA Well, ACTUALLY-actually, the shop I called -- the one that exists within 500 miles, said no, we only do mountain bikes. Your own shops are cutting ties with ya. And on top of that, if I did want to try it, or have my local guy try it.... the tools aren't available. They're on sale!!! But just not in stock. If it's truly needed to do the job and indeed proprietary, it should be in the box. Not free, but in the box. So you can, ya know, do the job...?

    • @AndreaniUSA
      @AndreaniUSA  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@joek81981 In the search filter you can select MTB or Motorcycle (dealers and/or service centers), you probably overlooked that.
      The tools are not a MUST but just a way to get the install done easier. We decided to have the tools available that are making the installation easier to final customers. Those can be purchased also individually. The bundle is not available at the moment cause we miss one of the 3 tools that will be in stock soon again. (We sincerely apologize for that)
      We do also recommend to have a suspension shop installing any cartridges (not just ours) as they have the knowledge, training and tools required to perform the installation. Of course you're free to install those also on your own as per manual. If you need help installing your cartridge you can contact us in the workshop and we can either install it for you or help you through the installation process. Ride Safe.

      @@joek81981 Agree with you, some times you can't trust in a regular mechanic to do this job ... For me is better do it by myself and I learn more about! The tools must be in the box and this video instructions too, maybe optional and you can charge for the tools! Easy for us and better for you as a dealer, think about it and listen your clients, some of Us like to do the Job in our bikes ❤
