It’s my head-canon that Wes abandoned Team Snagem because his Espeon and Umbreon (two Pokémon that require *friendship evolutions* btw) must’ve recently evolved; granting him an epiphany about the bond with his Pokémon. How would he feel if his precious Pokémon were taken from him? …and so he steals the snag machine to undo the wrongs he and his former gang has done.
My headcanon is something similar. It was clear, that cipher and snagem were teamed up from the start and that in snagem, its mostly admins and gonzap having shadow pokemon, so my headcanon is, that wes, as one of team snagems strongest trainers, had the "privilege" of his pokemon being turned into shadows as well and he was so angry at that idea that he betrayed team snagem
One thing I noticed is how Mirror B always uses the same team but stronger till XD when his Ludi’s were taken, to me this shows he has some level of affection for them
what i loved about colosseum and gale of darkness is that like most trainers outside main series pokemon they are trainers with an actual story after the third gen and seeing what colosseum and gale of darkness offered i realized the formula of pick a starter collect badges while dealing with the regions evil team and become champion was stale and boring that i skipped diamond and pearl black and white x and y sun and moon and sword and shield and only came back for scarlet and violet after hearing they where going to be different and not follow the same formula as past games lol to me alongside emerald and gates to infinity colosseum and gale of darkness are the peak of the series for me my main issue with main series pokemon games is that they focus way too much on connectivity and multiplayer while letting the single player aspects like story suffer while genius sorority and spike chunsoft focused more on the aspects i care about and want in a game aka single player content lol
There's no need for grinding. Enemies having higher levels are a way to make the game more difficulty, because you know, difficulty curve and all that.
Actually they do elaborate on Pokeballs, the reason they don’t sell them is the wild Pokémon you mention, XD even has it noted as a “new commodity” to the region
I would rather them port the game than try and remaster it (unless it's just a graphical update with higher texture quality) but knowing how they work, they'd probably change the wrong things
You don't get the other 2 starters after you finish the game, you get right before you finish the game, pretty sure you can catch them at Realgam Tower before Snagem Hideout. Also, there is a way to get all 3 at the beginning, you just need to lose to the trainer after you snag their Shadow and then you start back at the Pokémon center with the thugs still there. but the snag still counted and it'll be in your party. Then Snag the next one's shadow, lose, start back at the Pokémon center with it in your party too. Then take on the final goon and snag without losing and you got all 3. Also, I've found that Hyper Mode actually triggers less often the more you deplete the Shadow meter, unlike in the sequel where Reverse Mode triggers more often the closer you are to purification. Also, why do you keep pronouncing Ein's name like Ian? The twist with Es Cade/Evice actually is satisfyingly if you were paying attention to NPC dialogue, especially in the Under, and the fact you see Nascour coming out of his house at the beginning of the game. The game isn't upfront about the story, but it's there if you dig a little and pay attention to Environmental Storytelling in addition to NPC dialogue.
A. The other 2 starters are post-game in Snagem Hideout. Not Realgam B. If you lose to them after snagging the starter, the others won't have their shadow Pokémon in Phenac, before going to Pyrite

I wish we could have gotten a third game set in Orre. There’s so much set from after the battle with Ardos and how XD’s story ends
Voicing all the character types in both of these games must be pretty fun lol
of all the voices to give miror B, this is the furthest from my own personal head canon I think i’ve ever heard. I still love it though lmfao
I still only hear theJwittz making him a suave sexyman
Gamefreak needs to play these games would give them such inspiration. Loved playing them as an kid back in 2004 good times ☺️✨✨✨
I still need to play this game. Hell, I HAVE a physical copy.

Another great video. Really can see the amount of effort you put in all of these

I love Nascour’s voice. He sounded like Kim Chi trying to be edgy.
Oh God please no more cringe voice acting
