Other than English audio file like bengali, Hindi not converted to english. Pls suggest.

Yes if you change the cells used as input to the function.
I suggest that you run the extraction, then copy the resulting text only into another sheet so you can keep it, without triggering again the same transcription :)

Best would be to split the audio. But it might be painful in Google Sheets 😅
Are you comfortable with Python?
Whisper limits is quite larger outside of the 30 seconds limitation in Google Sheets.
You can Process files up to 25MB, if longer you can split them: platform.openai.com/docs/guides/speech-to-text/longer-inputs

Could it work with TH-cam videos transcriptions? I mean add youtube URLs instead podtrac. TH-cam videos have an advantage because TH-cam automatically generate transcriptions for the content. Would be great

Yes that could work but we should modify the script.
Since TH-cam has already the transcription though we could just download them instead of extracting the audio and then transcribing with Whisper.
