In this episode, we had the opportunity to speak with Bernard Chiira, Director of Innovate Now. Growing up in Nairobi as a person with disabilities, Bernard found there was a lack of access to an inclusive education system, making him more determined to succeed and thrive in his studies. With his growing interest in computer science, Bernard became passionate about being a success catalyst and bridge for startup teams and venture founders using the power of technology and entrepreneurship to change the world. He is now the Director of Innovate Now, Africa’s 1st Assistive Technology Accelerator and Innovation Ecosystem, led by the Global Disability Innovation Hub.
