Visual Perception: An Overview for Understanding

Visual perceptual skills are an important aspect of our daily lives. Whether it’s in a school or home environment, it allows use to efficiently function in society and achieve our daily goals and objectives. In this edition of OT2ME we discuss various aspects of visual perceptual skills including; visual discrimination, form constancy, visual memory, visual closure, and visual figure ground. This video provides examples and real-life scenarios to help all gain a better understanding of visual perceptual skills, deficits they may cause, and how to recognize potential problems.
