Because of you I am growing cherry tomatoes, sugar snap pea, bell pepper, chillies, catnip, sunflower and strawberries. I've never been successful with gardening but this year I am and its because of your amazing gardening tips, thank you!
@Purva the sugar snap peas made 30 pods and died. The catnip unfortunately died a couple days after posting this, everything else is still growing good

I've never grown an aquatic plant before. I bought some small pink lotus roots from an online seller, and have planted them in bowls filled with clay soil and water. I hope they're successful! They're such transcendentally beautiful flowers.

Hello sir, i grew lotus from seeds last year in two similar sized tubs as shown in the video.
I later added gambusia and other fishes to the tub to avoid algae and misquito breeding.The fishes loved their new habitat and started to breed,i have 20-25 fish frys from two fishes now.It looks beautiful but there has been no sign of a flower bud yet.I planted the seed orignally in cow dung manure rich soil, but since the fishes have been introduced,i'm hesistant to fertillize the plant.... I really want a lotus flower, what should i do? Any fertillizer i can add which won't harm my fishes?
I have heard it can take about two years for lotus grown from seeds to have flowers. But I have not tried it myself so I am not sure.
My problem is also same, I also added fishes, when i see mosquitoes larvae last year in water, I put 4 fishes, now they are near to Hundred, but no flowering yet. Can anybody help?

You can use dried cow dung. Take one teaspoon of cow dung in a piece of paper and fold it neatly and push the paper packet in the soil carefully without damaging the root. Within one month you can get flowers. 👍👍👍

Hi,loved the video! I used to have lotus pond on my terrace for 8 years but pigeons started attacking the pads.is there any solution for this problem? Also what about the repotting of the lotus? It will be nice if u have a solution…..

Really fantastic, I never seen this type of gardening video
I grew lotus plant from seeds. I planted it in a similar tub as yours but after getting 6-8 small leaves and changing water everyday, algae started forming and damaging the whole plant. This is my second attempt of growing lotus from seeds and both times algae damaging the plant. What can i do to cure my plant? (Also, i planted the seed in clay soil).

Start Lotus from a tuber ...as lotus grown from seeds will take a long time to produce blooms .....remove algae manually and keep them in full sun

There won't be enough oxygen for the fish :p, perhaps to a pond!

Just beginning my first lotus plants, 50 mixed colors.
I am using clay soil and the top of gravel in a pot and the pea gravel at the very top.
I will have all mine in a plastic kiddie pool.
Eventually I hope to have some in my duck pond.
