Why stay single?Nathan is her true love
I am a retired Texas Peace Officer with 30 years of service. When a person commits a crime, they should have to pay the price for that crime as determined by society. But once that debt is paid to society. Then that person should be given the opportunity to once again become a productive member of society. Lori Laughlin has paid that debt. She deserves the opportunity to once again become a productive citizen in our favorite town of Hope Valley.
I agree with you however, not once did she ever say she was sorry for what she did…………she regretted that she got caught. She tried to cover up the incident over and over…….while the others quickly admitted what they had done. I wish her well but don’t care to watch her on tv.
She was on "When Hope Calls", during the Christmas special. Which means she was back on Hallmark.
A life lesson she failed ..she had a blessed life, taught her daughters the wrong way to live. The viewers do not want to watch her....America has sold it's soul for the almighty dollar.....very sad.

I totally agree but sometimes that person has no remorse for the crime they have committed…..they just regret that they got caught. I wish her well and hope she finds her new passion…….just not maybe the same path.

It isn’t real . They have had her say she only picked Lucas because he seemed safer . She didn’t pick Nathan because of his job . She can change her mind if she wants to to . Both men are great guys. Either one is fine .
@@lindamartinez7006 we know it isn't real, but even in a Soap Opera, storylines should be some what believable. This breakup has become a joke...an insult to ones intelligence. Elizabeth ran around kissing & holding hands with Lucas. Practically asked 'him' to marry her. She said 'I Love You' when he was sleeping. Gave him a watch engraved with 'Our Time Has Come'. After the motorcycle race she repeated 'almost' wedding vows: & if we should marry'. On her birthday, she said, 'I thought you were going to propose'. She suggested eloping...all this & more was not from a 'Confused' women that thought Lucas was the SAFE choice. Yes, she was a little worried when Aunt Agatha was in HV, that left as soon as Lucas reenforced his desire to stay in HV with Elizabeth. And Elizabeth getting upset because Lucas wanted to build her a new house was also ridiculous...Jack bought land outside of town, bought lumber to build a house for the Thorton clan & surprised Elizabeth & she was happy! After all this time, through Season 9, Elizabeth was not LUSTING after Nathan.
Elizabeth has to come to terms with her grief over losing Jack before she will be able to commit fully to another relationship.
She was only pushing her feelings for Nathan aside because of her fear of losing him and getting hurt like she did with Jack. It was completely obvious that she loved him but just couldn't bear the thought of anything bad happening again. Lucas felt safe to her, and she fell for him because he pushed harder than Nathan did to be with her. I think there was always a bit of indecision still in the back of her mind.
I've really enjoyed the series. Hoping to see Nathan and Elizabeth get married. Lucas seems to be a shady character. Allie deserves a wonderful mother. Elizabeth would be perfect. ❤
I don't want to get preachy, but doesn't God teach forgiveness & we're suppose to follow by his example?
I hated all the time spent on a love triangle. Then Elizabeth chose & it was this grand "thank you for waiting for me", "I was looking for Jack in you (Nathan)". This year they changed her character, turning her into this indecisive, "maybe I should do this" girl who thinks more of a town, job, friends than the man she supposedly loves/d & committed herself to. I will not want another love triangle. A shame Hallmark won't bring Laughlin back cause she & Gowen would be an interesting side story.

I really am glad that you wrote that, it is like a town gossip about who E will marry now that Jack has died. Little Jack is so sweet and he’s just pushed away so E can get into another marriage. I loved 🥰 the show about the orphanage I so wish the writers would combine the two shows/ stories together and share the action going on with those characters.
They should replace Abigail with someone else.🤔

The show has turned into a real soap opera. How long do they think they can us interested in this love triangle thing? Five years is too much. Elizabeth seems more like a teenage girl trying to decide who to go to prom with than a mature, strong, woman.
It seemed during season 10 that maybe Lucas would be leaving, simply because he got into many other commitments after season 9. I suspected it.
Bring Abigail back!
In an interview promoting a non Hallmark project he mentioned how he loved his WCTH role. Chris said that because of the WCTH filming schedule of a little over 4 months with not many night shoots allows him to be an ever present dad to his young daughter. When this the interview was given the child had just turned one. What a great parent. Such a lucky little girl to have this man as her father.
Follow the money. They’ll do anything to drag out the “romantic interest” for main character. Of course it doesn’t make sense coz it’s all about money. Keeping her single expands the storyline possibilities which keeps the show going. It’s viewer manipulation!

Heartbreaking 💔 to realize that Elizabeth lost her beloved husband Jack. I personally really liked him. I haven’t been able to follow this whole entire series from the 1st episode to the very last episode. Really wish I’d been able to follow it all to the end/conclusion. Loved the old fashioned way of dress codes & the way they spoke to each other. Compared to the speech of today? This series is a breath of fresh air. So, again I’m gonna try to catch as many episodes as I can even if they’re old.
Anyone find it interesting that Hallmark says they won't work with Lori anymore? No 2nd chance? Isn't that what the last 10 seasons have been about with regards to Henry? A 2nd chance? A chance for redemption? Real life should and could mimic this fictional show

I would love to see Lori back. I love the storyline of Pastor Joseph & Minne running the cafe, but there's definitely something missing without Abigail there. And really, if Henry, a show character, can be forgiven, why can't the same be done for a real live person?
I've Never watched "When Calls the Heart" but I wanted to see if Lori Loughlin was coming back to it. The Creator of the show wants her back for Season 11. She just hasn't commented yet if she would or not
I watched a Christmas movie with her in it last night; North Pole, Open by Christmas." And then she had another Christmas movie out this year. It is SOOOO good seeing her on TV again!

Although they were already planting doubts in Elizabeth's feelings for Lucas it was horrible to watch her encourage him to run then back out on him. The night she promised to join him he jumped right into plans for her and Jack, he sees them already as family. I don't care how well he took it I felt like she sucker punched him. I know its TV but it was so painful to watch.

Yes, I think it's amazing that the show encourages forgiveness so many times in different seasons of the series, but they will not forgive Lori Laughlin for her sin and let her return to the show!!

Laughlin lost much of her fan base buying her daughters way into a college.....it was illegal....watching her play in this story based on principles and not corruption would be a hypocrisy. I wouldn't watch if Laughlan was back...many others wouldn't either.
Weather they bring Lori back or recast her character, what happened to forgiveness & redemption? That's makes us no better than she is, no one has done what she has, but I'm sure if you look back over your life you will find something you did that you were not proud of, don't judge people, she paid the price,
Wonder if they'll ship Fiona and Lucas in next season 🤔. She would make a good nurse for Lucas after thug car and good Governor's wife because she is a people person.

I have watched this show every season, l couldn’t wait for the next season to start, l was very disappointed how this ended with Lucas and Elizabeth, it was just so confusing to me, that story line didn’t make sense, all this time you betrayed them as a loving couple, then you turn around and Elizabeth says O wait a minute l don’t love Lucas it’s been Nathan all the time, Why couldn’t they (Elizabeth and Lucas) just have there happy ending l’m sure there was a lot of people hoping for the wedding. I was so disappointed ❤

Many Lucas fans now only want to see Lucas. No interest in Elizabeth anymore. I find Lucas is also very attractive person but I don't think that way about Nathan even his character I don't like.

Every one of the Nathan fan videos is praising how wonderful season 10 is, but it is fans who love Lucas who are greatly disappointed and some expressed that they also will stop watching. Others wanted to watch only because they love Lucas. Nathan fans think that they have a strong argument against what Lucas fans have to say about the Lucas and Elizabeth relationship. I personally don't like Nathan. I only see his negative points. He even disliked Lucas even though they are sort of friends it seems there is still some enmity there between them especially season 10 Nathan going to Elizabeth to stop her leaving Hope Valley and not even consider Lucas and her are engaged. Now, I despise every moment I see of Nathan and Elizabeth in a day dream mode that they call "romance." Linda Sturman and Brian Bird have ruined this series by making season 10 a retcon and starting the relationship over and reopening the love triangle. They lied about the wedding happening. This is also because she is a Nathan fan. Every episode she wrote an author fan said that it was non-emotional and lacked sensitivity.

She agreed to marry him when it is convenient fir her but when challenges occur she walks away. Too many people do this in real life. Was hoping she would set an example of commitment no matter the situation.

I really wish Elizabeth and Lucas would stay together . I would like to see Nathan find a new love interest. Also miss Carson. Wish he would return to Hope Valley and continue with the girl he left. PLEASE keep this Awesome series alive and well. I have fallen in love with this story and the people.

They need a new show runner that wants Elizabeth and Lucas to be together. The current one doesn't.
I am a Nathan fan all the way but I didn’t want them together in the finale because that would be too soon and disrespectful to Lucas and everything he and Elizabeth shared in the pass couple of years. She needs time to release her feelings for Lucas.
I feel like from the beginning of the series Elizabeth liked the attention of Charles and to me that is who Lucas is in comparison to. But at the end she wanted her Mountie. So now it seems the same. She loves the extravagance of life with Lucas but at the end of the day she wants her simple life in hope valley with her Mountie.
jack gave her time to figure that out. Once she did she never looked back. She may do the same with Nathan but it will take time for her to move on.
I felt she truly grew to love Lucas in season 9. That kind of passion wasn’t shown any more in season 10. So maybe she has moved on already. But for the sake of Lucas and his fan base, they need to take time moving on with Nathan and Elizabeth if they choose that storyline.
I think this has been a tough plot twist and I’m a Nathan fan and still think this has been mind blowing.
So I have been shocked so many times, at this point I’m ready for anything.
I’m at least focusing on how beautiful the character of Henry Gowen has played out. I’m nervous he won’t come back. The finale seemed so focus on bringing his story to an end with all the talk of forgiveness, and him realizing he is a new man. Now he is faced with becoming a godfather and it ends with going to Abigail and of course we can not forget how Rosaline coming in brought closure for Henry. All of this to me is saying they are giving his character a proper send off. I hope not though. Martin Cummins outdoes himself every year!! He is one of the best!!
Also Lee and rosemary another of my favorites! They are finally parents!!
I’m trying to focus on the beauty of all the other story lines.
Loved how this season was about the aqueducts and not just romance. It feels like it has got back to the heart of WCTH first five seasons. There is more to life than romance.
I don’t always get all the changes in each season but I still enjoy the show and the actors as a whole I’ve grown to love and think they are amazing to give of themselves every year.
Thank you to everyone who makes this show possible. 10 years of watching this and now my children are teenagers, we watched all 10 seasons this year. We absolutely love it and enjoy family time while watching it.
Yes so true! Its a great story despite the Lucas and Elizabeth breakup...which brings to mind that life is not always straightforward...change of heart and priorities or something may not be ideal but its the path of truth one follows...humans are complex ...other characters in the story must be highlighted too..ie Bill Hickam, Rosemary - Lee and Gowan etc ...

Very disappointing the whole of season 10 you don’t go out of a 3year relationship and into another one that soon but then they will probably flip it again in a year very bad writing

Finally i got to see the end. A commercial cut the ending off when Nathan got off his horse. How frustrating is that!😄

The ending will keep me watching because if Lucus was killed because if Lucus doesn't want to continue but I do think that Abigail should come back and I don't like her go to Nathan its just been so much focus on Elizabeth getting married and not enough about her and Jacks little son. I just wish she would be who she is for a while because when she marries the suspense will be over and baby Jack will still just be in the background.
It's already been stated he is back in season 11.
I record When Calls the Heart so I can have something heartwarming to watch before bed. I just finished the last episode as I didn’t want it to end. I’m glad there’s another season coming next year. As for Elizabeth, I did want her to be with Lucas at first. I found it strange that Nathan had a hard time finding love in Hope Valley. Now I understand. Great show! 😊

Sick of all you Lucas/Elizabeth fans bemoaning the Nathan/Elizabeth angle. As a Nathan/Elizabeth fan, I endured two seasons of what I found a nauseating and boring couple. Now I am excited to see what the Nathan pairing brings, and all I see are negative comments from the Lucas fans. Grow up. Gotta keep the show interesting so it’s fun to watch!
I think Elizabeth was going to tell Nathan she was in love with him right before she heard Lucas was in trouble. I hope that she doesn't stay with Lucas out of pity if he is her?😢

Don't need to worry about Elizabeth staying with Lucas because she'll be going to Nathan because he reminds her of Jack. And that's their next storyline for the adventures of Nathan & Elizabeth: Nathan's light bulb might click on & realize she was truthful when she said she was looking for Jack. Now how's Nathan going to compete with her deceased husband? Nathan's already insecure, where will the storyline go??? Boring.
Eu não acho que foi abrupto o termino da Elizabeth com o Lucas,e também não acho que os roteiristas erraram em fazer isso,sempre vi que os sentimentos da Elizabeth sempre estavam com o Nathan e ela morria de medo de se envolver com ele e perder outro marido policial de forma tão traumatizante,embora não gostasse nem do Lucas e nem do Nathan.
Interesting' cliff hanger' ending and, quite honestly, better than I had anticipated. I know they have started filming the next season, so many of us who were willing to stop watching if it took a sudden Nathan turn, will tune in to Season 11 to see how they sustain the 'tension' that seemed to be missing from Season 10.
It seems Elizabeth has morphed into a teenage girl trying to pick a prom date. She takes years to pick Lucas, but then deserts him when he needs her the most. Her character no longer has credibility as a strong, decisive woman at the center of the show.
Have you watched Erin’s interview on ET ? She basically said what will happen & spoiled it .
So it’s not a cliffhanger anymore.

I don’t think the show is trying to get over having to kill off Jack when they lost Daniel Lessing that played the part of Jack ( I hope I spelled his name correctly) But it was really thrown off guard by him leaving, it was hard for me to watch Daniel L in any thing after leaving WCTH , I just think he should have maybe taken a break if he needed to but not just leave ,
The finale was disappointing...lucas doing his civic duty and is alone on election day...no one to be with him in his victory...i was really disappointed with the twist in relationships....

Team Lucas or team Nathan...this was a disheartening finale starting with episode 11...totally whack...all the sudden Elizabeth doesn't feel in her heart it's Lucas....up until the end Lucas thot of little jack..wanting him to go along...packing the pix of the 3 of them....I really think the show has taken a ridiculous turn if it's going to resurrect a Nathan romance....sham shame

That's what they want us to believe! After the 2+ years of building a beautiful, loving relationship between Elizabeth & Lucas, Elizabeth says she's sorry but can't give Lucas her whole heart. But the topper is that Elizabeth realizes she's always had romantic feelings for Nathan. I'm sorry, but NO... Too ridiculously unbelievable for me.
Oh dear I sure hope nothing tragic happened to Lucas, now I wonder how's Elizabeth feeling now is she's going to feel the way that she did when Nathan was thought dead? Please writers Please bring in either a new love interests for Elizabeth or get Lucas and Elizabeth back together romantically again. 🙏🏾

I like the chemistry between Nathan and Elizabeth. Chris is handsome, and a good actor, but it seems like they watered down his personality when he became engaged, and his original personality did not fit with Elizabeth. She never flirted with him like she did with Nathan. But I don't trust that they'll let her end up with Nathan even now.

Elizabeth didn't need to flirt with Lucas through the triangle because they were already in tune with each other. He's always showed her how he felt. Nathan was awkward. Elizabeth was constantly trying to understand where he was coming from. But in reality, she was trying to find Jack in him. What makes the least sense is how could Elizabeth kiss Lucas ssoooo much, look at Lucas with loving eyes, be the 1st to softly say 'I Love you', suggest to eloping instead of having a wedding, etc, etc & not REALLY be in Love with him? No, the writers did a fantastic job of showing their relationship grow into love. But a good job was not done to create a story for Elizabeth & Lucas to end their engagement.
Can she just stay single?? and just focus on another romance? Bill? Hickam and Faith were too fast even if it's fine. Faith and someone else? Like let Elizabeth be a along for a few seasons! Gosh
I could not get on board with S10 the characters were unrecognizable, especially Elizabeth. The hero was left alone , no one by his side as he tried to save his and their beloved Hope Valley!!! There is no explanation that will do!

I think she had some growing up to do & go back & watch season 8&9. If she watched she must have missed all the passionate scenes & beautiful conversations they had.
I know right! Lucas was nervous and scared. He didn't want to be governor at first or leave Hope Valley but everyone kept pushing he was their only hope. And he loves Hope Valley so he will protect it. He accepts and feels comfort that he won't be alone he has Elizabeth and Jack. Elizabeth dumps him instead. 3 weeks pass and she's already flirting with Nathan. Am I the only one who was bothered that Nathan went to the school to tell an ENGAGED woman not to go with her fiance. Where are the morals of the show going?
Lucas got thrown under the bus by all of the Hope valley bunch,they really knew how to show the bad in the Writers and Erin is one of the main Producers of the Show.Not a fan anymore !

Final incrivelmente maravilhoso❤ a unica coisa ruim foi que mesmo longe o o insuportável fo Lucas atrapalha os momentos de Nathan e Elisabeth, ta ja hora de Lucas tomar seu rumo e ficar longe de Nathan e Elisabeth.

I never thought Elizabeth loved Lucas. I thought she always loved Nathan but her fear kept her from him. I'm hopeful that they will find love.
I felt the same, but I started to accept Lucas, but he and Elizabeth do not have much chemistry, IMO. I'm happy with the twist, although I did hate seeing Lucas alone on election night.
Yes his victory night he was alone and walked into the street alone. They better not take him out. Bring in his real life partner for some competition for Erin....it is getting negative again..I stopped watching once because of that. People like to watch positive shows on Hallmark.

Aww. 😟I have been enjoying this special series due to the cleanliness & kindness of the people, community etc. it sorta reminds me of the days when I used to watch “Little House on The Prairie.” But that was way back in my childhood when I’d excitedly watch it thinking. So, I’d evidently I’m watching the remaining episodes from the past. I really would like to see much more of this series. But that’s just me. Difficult writing my thoughts out while trying to listen to the description(s) of the video being played. Gonna be looking for more of these episodes wherever possible. ☺️
You didn't say how many Seasons of WCTH you have completed so, by all means, watch them all. Everyone has been enjoying the show, however, Season 6 introduced 2 men that caused some fans friction, but all was being resolved & happiness in HV continued through Season 9. Unfortunately, a new Showrunner & several new writers were added to the show & that's when things started getting unbelievable. I, myself, think not all the writers completely watched the show from the beginning because what was written into Season 10 didn't fit in or connect with previous Seasons. I'm going to watch the first episode of Season 11 & if it's as poorly written as Season 10, I'll probably stop watching altogether. But, definitely keep watching the show & decide for yourself if you like it enough to continue...that is if there's a Season 12. Happy Watching. 😊

I have to say, this was it for me. I simply no longer like Elizabeth! She strung two men on for a long time, tells one she loves him only as friend, proclaims her love to the other, agrees to marry him, has her son emotionally involved with him and then decides she doesn’t want to marry him but loves him as a friend? And now may be in love with bachelor #1 again? Seriously? Lucas and Nathan both deserve better and should run from her!! How do you enter into any relationship with such an emotional flake! WCTH has jumped the shark!
Do you remember when she wrote in her journal how she was stringing along 2 good men & she needed to make a choice .so she makes the choice & strings Lucas along for 2 years & then drops him like a hot potato at the train station leaving him to fend for herself?? She had no morals.
I was to heartbroken that I cried but after a week I’m so mad that I don’t like anymore .I don’t want her with Lucas .Let her go to Nathan ,he can be her shadow wherever she goes, he knew she was engaged & he never left her alone.

I’m with you. It’s hard to like Elizabeth’s character after her dumping Lucas and quickly turning to the guy she strung along for so long. It’s like her character thrives on attention. Hate that.
I think she's just a woman in pain, confusion and fear. Didn't make the right decisions, but thought she was. Only God can help us make the right ones everytime. Did she surrender it all and trust in Him? Not sure i saw that..... yes its just a show, but it's supposed to mimic life.... she allowed fear to direct her steps and not faith or full trust in God.
None of us can make the right choices by following fear.
I will be beyond disappointed If Lucas does not have as strong a part in Season 11 as he has in the past He is such a fan favorite. Poor writing in Season 10. I watch because of him as do many others. His recent movie got amazing ratings!

The ending surprised me. I loved the three of them riding their horses off to help Lucas. Hope to see some adventure and more of the beautiful landscape. Remember this is the Canadian West. This is one of the reasons Elizabeth fell in love with Hope Valley. I know it may be unpopular with some, but Elizabeth is being true to herself. I couldn't see her as the wife of a politician or a wealthy saloon/restaurant owner. She left that lifestyle behind. If she wants to ride around with her handsome Monty. Then I say, alright! But of course, the writers could flip things around next season. But for now - Team Nathan all the way!

The only thing I can't comprehend is that it took Elizabeth 2+ years to decide that she really had feelings for Nathan & not Lucas. If she new from the beginning that she cared for Nathan how could she suppress those feelings so long while giggling & giving Lucas google eyes & passionate kisses? She even said 'I Love You' first. And, why would she be so upset when Nathan kept the Fort Clay secret from her for so long when in reality she was not being truthful to Nathan about her feelings to him? Sorry, the changes in the storylines just don't make sense.

I love Chris McNally. His acting skills are off the charts. He is the only reason I watch the show ❤. Give him a partner he deserves! Watching Elizabeth and Nathan woodenly interact with each other is nauseating. They have no chemistry whatsoever. Dull and boring. Find someone else.
I am with you 100%. Elizabeth has gotten so annoying. Lucas deserves better. I say write Elizabeth and Nathan off the show and start featuring the more interesting characters.

Done with the show. Season ten was ridiculous with Elizabeth suddenly turning off her love for Lucas and discovering she loves Nathan. Poor writing and you made us dislike the main character. Through watching it.

The worst season yet. I think the writers, the new show runner and Erin Krakow …who went along with it as an EP…have disrespected their viewers. I’ve deleted every show on my DVR and canceled series recordings. Thankfully I didn’t order the season 10 DVD. WCTH ended with season nine for me. I will not watch season 11. Bet on it.

Nasli" de um modo desastroso....até consertaram o erro , já quase no final da 2 temporada e uniram o casal de novo, deixaram muito a desejar, porque até eles unirem o casal outr vez, passou quase toda a 2 temporada, estragando o personagem "Ali Vefa"...e, é óbvio que audiência caiu drasticamente, o show, não passou da 2 temporada. Infelizmente o ator principal Taner Olmez , o "Dr. Ali Vefa", desistiu de gravar a terceira temporada...Affff....E Não foi diferente em na série Chicago Fire com Gabby e Casey, Mônica Raymond desistiu na 6 temporada, e Fire se tornou um fracasso de série. Esses roteiristas, se perdem sempre no meio do caminho, qdo o show vira um sucesso, eles conseguem arruinar tudo, não sei o que acontece na mente deles, sinceramente não sei.

Lindsay Sturman is the new show runner for seasons 10 and 11 and that's how she wanted the story to go. That is the only explanation otherwise it does not make any sense.
I prefer Elizabeth and Nathan together. My favourite character is Rosemary. She's the best❤❤
Honestly, I don't agree with what they did this season. In fact, Elizabeth is not being herself and not being honest. She should have told the children that she was the one that broke the engagement. Instead, she allowed the children to be angry and blame Lucas. Yes. This season and next are a soap opera. They turned away from the base that the show was supposed to be built on and blended it into how tv likes things to be done. The show runner chose to dismantle everything that happened in seasons 6-9 and completely reverse it. She wanted to change things and bring back the mountie and teacher story without any consideration whether it made sense or was appropriate. She basically ruined the beautiful storyline that was already created and made something new while saying its still linked to season 9 when its not. Many characters do not act like themselves and didn't get a proper storyline. They became all new characters. There is no connection anymore. They made Lucas look like a bad person and also didn't care about his feelings and desires. Elizabeth and Lucas were supposed to marry this season if they didn't have this new show runner to take over. Sadly, Brian Bird also likes what the new showrunner has done. They did not keep what they promised to do this season but changed things. I think if they show Elizabeth and Nathan dating I will stop watching. Fans are speculating that they will regurgitate the whole script of Jack's relationship with Elizabeth using Nathan as his replacement and drag the dating. The show will not be worth watching.

That's exactly what will happen. She'll need time to figure herself and move on from Lucas. Nathan will be waiting in the wings. They will finally get together at the end when the show is being cancelled for its crappy writing and ratings and the screen fades to black. The end. They had some real potential with Elizabeth and Lucas being together. Now I'm only interested in Lucas. I have no interest in watching Elizabeth struggle with her love life anymore. We've done this. Numerous times now. Lucas was supposed to be her future, the happy ending, a symbol of change. This feels like going backwards and starting over again.

They are just happy with what they see now because its what they wanted but it doesn't mean that the show is going to good anymore. Many people are also saying that the writing is awful this season and will continue to be as long as Sturman is still showrunner. She is not a good writer either and the new writers also aren't good writers as non of them know the characters and series. They just want to go back to the mountie and teacher relationship. They have no consideration for what is proper, moral, and sensible. I agree with you that Lucas and Elizabeth are the perfect match. They should have been married and she should have been happy with just him. Then they would have had a beautiful season 11 continuing that journey of married life but Sturman wanted to revert things backwards because she wants Nathan to be with Elizabeth. The Official Hearties posted clips of the interview of Sturman and Brian Bird. I have no interest to listen to what explanation that they give. I heard from all Lucas fans that they are liars and biased. They don't care about Lucas fans. They block off Lucas fans for pointing out what they did wrong. They actually don't care what we think. I find the Lucas fans see the bigger picture but Nathan fans only see a small picture and can't discern that it doesn't make any sense.
Can someone tell me when this show is suppose to take place it seems like they are cosplaying the 1940's to me but I think it is suppose to be before that. The oufits mess me up is it an alternative timeline of earth or something.
Now, Lucas and Elizabeth fans will only want to watch because of Lucas. They are not interested in Elizabeth being with Nathan. She should have time to be alone to overcome her grief and think through. She doesn't love Nathan the way she loves Lucas. She still loves Jack even more than both of them.

my disappointment, with the writers , that I didn't watch the final episode. what has done the cruelty to Lucas from Elizabeth, her character is has turn so selfish, and the fear of change, Lucas was always there for her and beyond, the writers are keeping Elizabeth as the school teacher, imagine how much she was able to do as wife of a governor and a teacher? the brave and independent wild woman is gone. Nathan don't like the character, I was in love with Lucas Character similar with Jack he moved the world for her, what Elizabeth's characters did is not how I thought it was her personality, for me is a bye bye to the show, even I am canceling hallmark movies app because, I did it only for WCH. Lucas is too big of Character for the show.

Their decision to not bring Abigale back is due to the thousands of dollars they tried to swindle to get the college to admit her girls because they had a scholarship but they didn’t even have one. I know that she is having a hard time in California. But Hallmark is a Christian network and values are important.
It would have been more successful story telling season 10 if the script continued from season 9 and allowed the characters to continue being who they were before. Very few characters had a good storyline. Elizabeth's was not good. She became cold hearted. It's very deceiving how they portrayed her. One can't claim to be in love with another mountie when she has strong love and grieving for Jack. It is very poor writing. Fiona's was short and Mei's became silly. Faith also stepped away from doctor the rest of the season. Nathan barely did any mountie work. The characters acted like they had plenty of free time on their hands. Minnie also should have counseled Elizabeth. Rosemary should not counsel Elizabeth. I do like that Lucas has a bigger role but don't like the way they were throwing him aside and broke off the relationship. Not to mention that they intentionally wanted him to become governor so that he would be out of Hope Valley when he was supposed to be getting married. The heart can be deceitful. Listening to the spirit of the Lord will give clarity. It is something that they do not have in this show the spirit and supernatural aspect of the faith. It would make it more interesting to watch. Many wants a wedding and to see Fiona have a big impact. Mei could have had a better pharmacy and facial mask role too. Many characters didn't do much of what they are supposed to do this season. It seems most of them are running around as if they have plenty of time on their hands. Lucas was more solid but Elizabeth was like a school girl running around. She falsely represents what a Christian woman should be showing to her students when she defends herself indirectly and doesn't correct what they said about Lucas.
Viewer manipulation. It’s not about the story, it’s about the money & dragging out the love interest story line for main character. Keeping E single creates more opportunities for various story lines. They want to keep viewers hooked, but only as far as it serves their financial gains & future. Notice the only viewers who liked this ending & excited for S11 are the ones who were team Nathan from seasons ago? Perhaps the person who pulls up w the car in front of Lucas is an old girlfriend? Yeah. Don’t care. I’m done w this show.
Totally viewer manipulation. It's not about what logically makes sense to progress the stories they started forward. It's about jumping around with random plot points now in a pathetic effort to keep ratings up. Well, I'm not going to be jerked around by crappy writing. They had a direction that made sense when they ended the love triangle. Elizabeth chose lucas, and friend zoned Nathan, and she had very specific reasons for doing so. Her and Lucas courted, were super romantic, and got engaged. Now they are like, "Oh wait a minute, we can't have the lead be happy, let's backtrack and start all over again." Dumb. What is this? Riverfail? I'm so out.
