Today I took a stash of various sized envelopes, 12 to be exact, determined to attach them together to make a flippy journal foundation. It never occurred to me to open them. I eventually succeeded but not without a lot of flipping frustration. Obviously I made it more complicated than it had to be - not unusual for me. So again, I can relate and greatly appreciate your efforts here. It will be fun to watch you work on this. I'm sure many will enjoy the process. And yes... I'm going to try to film a flip through of my "version" before I do anything more to it. Just to show how complicated I can make something, LOL 😁

Of course we would love to see you decorate this journal. Believe it or not, the first journal I tried to make was an envelope journal which opened in all directions. It was a muddle , but, I learnt an awful lot from my mistakes 😂😂 I’m definitely going to try it your way!

Totally understand there is some confusion making this flip journal! It is like a paper maze! Love the exclamation mark after "front" and "back" :) But oh my .. it is a brain workout! Great tutorial! Those envelopes had me so confused, I spent 2 hours trying to make the base and I must confess I threw it out and started over with new envelopes but I didn't cut them open, I just used more to get them to flipflop, lol! I love yours! xx

Just need to see whether my printer still works😆 and figure out what kits I want How many pages did you approximately print out for each? I’m in the process of trying getting rid of unused printed clutter and don’t want to add more 😅 life is tough😂😂
Hi kerry happy your giving this a go! If you lay a sheet of a4 over the envelopes it will give you an estimate of how many papers to cover the envelopes, great project to use up papers xx
