as it should, the Civic is a C class car, which means compact. the Sonata is a midsize car, so price was always higher on midsize. the Accord competes with the Sonata.
My Dads good friend was the original owner of a 04 GLS in Pearl White. dad bought it with around 160k and drove it around the city and to work for a few years then gave it to me when I turned 18…. I broke the antenna in the car wash, I popped both front tires, a girl burnt the door panel with a cig, i hit the fender and light doing a u turn, & I totaled it going the opposite direction on the freeway. 2.7 V6 automatic was quick! All my friends were impressed thinking it was a Jaguar or Benz. We drove it from Salt Lake to Mazatlan Mexico a few times and people thought it was a Jaguar there too. My dad tinted the windows for $50 lol. It had a Pioneer Premier stereo with a controller and it pounded hard. Dang I miss it
Actually back then, Hyundais were a lot better than today. I personally find the Genesis line of cars hideous and full of useless technology and are overpriced like any other cars. Those early 2000s Hyundais at least offered good value with decent luxury featured. And they had a somewhat more personality than current models.
they sold the good warranty with a good car so that their reputation would grow in the US. There is as many of these cars out there today as there are same gen Toyota Camrys. They don't build them like they used to.
My grandparents brought 2005 Hyundai Sonata LX V6 in Florida.
Is it reliable?
Used to be a dream car...
I had one when i left college.
We want to test drive Ford Crown Victoria LX Sport 2004 and Mercury Marauder 2004 Super Charge and normal version
This Generation of The Hyundai Sonata came out in 2001 for the 2002 Model Year.
I remember this car being sold for just a little bit more than the price of a Civic.

Hyundai hasn't changed I see. Still deliver a good warranty but won't deliver a good car.

this car was good
You're so wrong. Hyundai and Kia make great cars with a quality above any American brand and more reliable than several Germans.
