Had to stop every minute to add these books to my tbr. There's something about the way you describe these books that makes me wanna immediately read them))
watch mojo owns me. and thank you! my hair loved this lighting. so i refer to star wars books separately a lot of the time because they’re not all like a linear series. i think of “star wars” as more of a genre than a series bc there are hundreds of star wars books and not all of them directly influence each other. YES THEY ARE FORTUNATELY THE SAME SIZE. I’D SCREAM IF THEY WEREN’T
when there is a series within star wars books (there are trilogies that are like LEGIT series’) i consider those a series. but otherwise, i treat it as a genre!
I'm currently reading Lore. I'm Buddy Reading Rule of Wolves next month, Buddy Reading King of Scars this month. I have Tarnished on my TBR on Goodreads. A lot of these I haven't heard of. Awesome video, though!
I binge read The Charm Offensive in the 24 hours between watching and commenting on your recent reads video and absolutely loved it. You're absolutely right and I'm so glad I jumped on that recommendation! It made me cry and laugh out loud and was the perfect way to escape the heatwave I'm currently suffering through
I read Circe in 2021 and it was hands down one of the greatest books I've ever read!! I'm currently reading Song of Achilles and I like it so far, but I think it's gonna be hard to top Circe
Im more convinced to read a Star Wars book every video of yours I watch. I enjoy the movies but wouldn't say I'm a super fan. Which should I start with? For context my favorite charactera are Chewie and Ahsoka and favorite movies are episode 6 & 9
i WILL be making a full video with all my recommendations but with these guidelines i would highly recommend Ahsoka by E.K. Johnston. it follows Ahsoka right after order 66 and it’s incredible.
Start with Lost Stars by Claudia Grey or Light of the Jedi by Charles Soule. Lost Stars because it's unequivocally the best. Light of the Jedi because, well, you watched this video as well, the High Republic is amazing and requires no prior knowledge. Bonus tidbit, Claudia Grey is one of the High Republic authors and all her books are amazing.
Only saw this video because of High Republic, but you also enjoyed Tarnished are the Stars so I'm inclined to take your suggestions of Complicated Love Story.
