Those cards are really special, Scott. I particularly liked the second one, with the burnished metal look, and the galaxy one (because... galaxy). The heart-shaped one is really pretty too. Of course, the punny one made me laugh. I hope you and Joel are doing well this month and that you can do something special for Valentine's Day (if you celebrate it). I can't believe it's nearly February already. Life sure does go by. We had quite a stint of cold but now it's all nice and warm again... and the snow is gone. I'm not sure how long that will last, but it's nice to see. As I've gotten older, I've liked winter less and less. The cold makes me old bones ache and my breathing gets quite difficult. But it is what it is and I at least don't have to be afraid of fires or water pouring over me. LOL

I really liked all 3 cards with the keys. I may have to buy a roll of that paper. I have really liked Tim Holtz 8x8 pad of metallic paper with 3D embossing folders and using TH black paint then wipe off. Great effect!! Now I’ll try black paper with metallic on top. Keep playing with your new products. Nice to see you’re doing good. Stay healthy, wear your masks and don’t run with scissors.

I used the brown flexy pad to emboss the cover plate onto black paper then used a paper trimmer to cut it down to A2 size, finishing with a small pair of Tim Holtz shears to cut out the keyhole. This was because I wanted to avoid all the finer precise beautiful cuts that didn’t work with my make. I love love your channel. Show Joel in a future video, please? Love & Chuckles.
Love how you use the entire kit in so many ways. I almost didn’t watch this as I didn’t like the kit contents. But you made gorgeous cards with it! My favorites are the heart shaped card and the ‘be fearless.’ That sizzix texture paper is awesome as well.
You are amazing! I look at this set and think, “what in the world am I going to do with this?” You take paper, ink, and scissors and run with it. Wonderful creativity and beautiful job! 👏🏅

I hope either someone already told you this or you didn’t need this tip because you used then up: cover the tops of your gilding polishes with a small square of _Press 'n Seal_ to keep them from drying out. Also, most people find the original (flat) blending foams more effective at applying them than the built in applicators in their caps. I love the cards and as usual, find your creativity astounding.

Cutting the back layer of the heart to make it stand is so clever! Genius! You always make me smile, your sense of humor is contagious. I've been eying the metallic polish and texture roll recently. At the moment, I'm playing with pigment powder. I think I have that metallic watercolor palette somewhere, I should dig it out.

Hi Scott! Your metallic cards are stunning. They remind me of tin ceiling tiles. I colored the cover plate with markers (whew) which took me forever, but gave me a folk art feel. Then I wasn’t Sure how to finish them. Scott doing shaker cards to the rescue! You’re the best! PS-I thought wisteria, too!

I live this set. I don't mind looking through the keyhole at all! I used those pearlescent watercolors in the autumnal colors on various shades of red, yellow orange and rust cardstock and then cut out about 300 leaves built about a 7 ft. maple tree for our church's 12th annual (except 2021😡) Tables Extraordinaire fundraiser. That's why I'm so late watching this video. I love the gate fold card...beautiful. Wisteria yes live wisteria it grew wild all over the area of NJ where I grew up. Love the pun.

Love how you use the entire kit in so many ways. I almost didn’t watch this as I didn’t like the kit contents. But you made gorgeous cards with it! My favorites are the heart shaped card and the ‘be fearless.’ That sizzix texture paper is awesome as well.

I hope either someone already told you this or you didn’t need this tip because you used then up: cover the tops of your gilding polishes with a small square of _Press 'n Seal_ to keep them from drying out. Also, most people find the original (flat) blending foams more effective at applying them than the built in applicators in their caps. I love the cards and as usual, find your creativity astounding.

I live this set. I don't mind looking through the keyhole at all! I used those pearlescent watercolors in the autumnal colors on various shades of red, yellow orange and rust cardstock and then cut out about 300 leaves built about a 7 ft. maple tree for our church's 12th annual (except 2021😡) Tables Extraordinaire fundraiser. That's why I'm so late watching this video. I love the gate fold card...beautiful. Wisteria yes live wisteria it grew wild all over the area of NJ where I grew up. Love the pun.

Fabulous! I had seen the texture roll stuff advertised, but I just didn't appreciate how it worked/looked. Those cards really look like a leather front book or something! (on my screen anyway) :) Great job.
