Eure Videos sind großartig! Danke schön!
Danke 😊😊
I love the fact that you are actually forging and not tracing the shape on the spring and then cutting it out 💪
There is moments where cutting out is better, and moments when forging is better. This time the forge screamed loud!! 😊🙌🏻😄
Fridays mean eagerly waiting for the MHK video, whiskey, cigars and working on my own blade orders. It’s a good life ❤ love this blade. Videos just keep kicking ass, thank you!
Thank you my friend! I appreciate you a lot
Every time you said "naginata" I heard "nuggy-nata"...I'll let you decide on what kind of nuggy...😜
It's a magnificent piece of cutlery, I can't wait to see the fork that goes with that knife 😆
You just named it, this weapon should from now on be called "Nuggy" 😊🙌🏻
Always a joy
Thank you!
It’s like a plate quench but big, understatement of the year😂😂. Great build, one of my favorite blades but never saw a full tang one. Makes me think about doing it. Great job as always! Moe and his “drop forging” 😅 but he can’t throw a rag…
I can only quench 2 meters...
Loooooove Naginatas! Beauty piece!
Thank ya 🥰
Every time you show the Baltic Burnish I think of beard butter. Nice letter opener.
hahahahah
Does it work? Your beard is a little shiny.😅😂😅
you always put it all in your videos MH your amazing MH
Thanks my friend!
Brother, it is refreshing to see someone other than myself run into the same damn issues with things not wanting to stay in the tongs! Cool piece and take on a traditional pole arm too. Loved it!
hahahha :D
One of the better forging videos I've seen in a while! Keep it up!
thanks!!
Man I love your videos. Keep em coming! Well done.
Thanks!!!
Awesome ,love to see the fun projects you have been making recently❤️🔪
Thanks!
This spear sword, it looks a bit like a Japanese naginata, a very cool weapon, by the way.
Thank you! :)
Love the new darker filming look!
Drop forging joke got me really good.
haha :D thanks broski
Video turned out great! Especially the end scenes 😂
Tahnks! you have to know :D
Great work to make it and like also that small jokes you make around the shop

Love the unique builds!! Keep it up!!
Thank you!
Dork..lol
Good job guys!!
haha :D
My comment and like are a sacrifice to the algorithm gods.
a great sacrifice that will please them!
Well, who doesn’t has a 3m press brake in his shop to keep things straight…
Nice video!
hahaha 😄😄😄
Great video again Master Martin!, Greets from Vienna!
Thanks!
Greethings back from Upper Austria 😄
❤ beautiful work the smart phone zombies wouldn’t stand a chance 😎🖖
hahahaha
It's a nagamaki (spear sword) but with a slightly longer handle and the blade shape of a naginata spear. Cool hybrid 👍
thank you!
great take on that weapon, even though gravity was against you 😅
i should pay for my anti - gravity-subscription..
@@MartinHuber_Knives perhaps i would help to soak the workpiece in redbull, to give it wings .... another reason for a red bull sponsorship
Wirklich informativ mit viel Witz! Super 😁👍🐢
Danke :)
0:54 drop forged!
YES
Einfach geil wenn man sieht wieviel zunder darauf ist und drr lufthammer einfach den zunder und Dreck zerdeppert und zersprengt geil so muss das
Immerwieder meine lieblings szenen! 😊🙌🏻
@MartinHuber_Knives meine ich es nur oder hat der hammer n ungleichen Schlag? Oder irre ich mich
Because we’re not having fun 😂
Bonjour good buddy
We're nevee havin fun.
BAUNSCHUR ❤️
I absolutely subscribed for the jokes.😂
heheheh 😄😄
Videos since Martin has NOT dropped the workpiece = 0 😂
EY. only the big ones..
These are exactly the stupid jokes I subscribed for, thank you :)
Great to hear that 😄😄
Must be Monday or you had a late night in the pub 😁
It was actually a monday xD
The end reminded me of the old Monty Python skit. What to do if someone attacks you with a Banana.
HAHAHAHAHA
Im a hurricane im bringin thunder and rain im a hurricane if you get in my way!!!
YEEESSSSSSSSSS 🔥🔥🔥
Excelente video me gustó mucho el proceso de elaboración por cierto como buena canción de fondo como se llama
There are a few background songs! 😄
@MartinHuber_Knives gracias eres el mejor
Fun build, I want to cut stuff with it! I don’t like how you stared at me when you cut that banana… 😳☹️
ITS SO FUN
that stare was only for you...so you remember that its just 4,5 weeks left...
@ coming up quick!
👍
🙌🏻
The moment you dropped the steel infront of the hammer- my pants went down.
hahahaah :D
You said this weapon was naginata-ish so I can't criticize how it deviates from the various forms of the weapon throughout history. However, the entire shaft is supposed to be straight with an oval cross-section without which most techniques are rendered useless. There is supposed to be an ishizuki used for smashing the enemy's feet at the bottom end. BTW, I practiced in a naginata school that was founded in the sixteenth century and certified in Japan.
You know ms friend, when filming i knew there will be a lot of people beeing mad about how i did it, as usual when you do japanese weapons. The wanna-be japanese nerds who never held something similar in their hands will always be right, i guess!
But then there is you, actually listening to that i said "-ish, in my style" and youre friendly, polite and giving USEFULL criticism instead of just beeing an absolute retard and beeing mean to my mother.
So thanks budd, i appreciate your comment 😊
Bow to the algorithm before it destroys you......!!
YESS MY FRIEND
YEEESSSS 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I am a collector of black powder weapons, and at an auction when buying some Japanese pieces they offered what you make today, a saber made with a naginata blade but with a katana hilt, all original blade, hilt, tsuba, but I have never seen anything like it in an original way. And I'm left wondering if it was a piece assembled for sale or by a Japanese master.
This is actually super awesome!!!
I know a Kenshi heavy Polearm when I see one
🤔
Nice work, that weapon is a little short for a naginatawho is a hast weapon, seem more close to an Nagamaki or chines Changdao.
Ok you exploded my asian weapon knowledge brain 😄
@@MartinHuber_Knives Sry ;) if you search something fun an asian antic weapon you have the dager axe in hast weapon whit is blade sewn onto handle. And the Tiěbiān iron whips. Have fun =)
after watching it: testosterone peak, biceps enlarged, Humor developed
hahah :DD
First😏😏😏
Wait. What are you doing here.
@ sneaking in your videos first i guess 😏
that is a very nice shortish PU DAO.
True they look extremel, similar
Looks like a chinese kawa do.
a little bit yea
Oh gott NEIN, dumme KI...
Mach dir gern eines! :D
It's all fun and games until you put something under a power hammer...and it go's flying...I once had a hot billet wipe out 3 pneumatic lines almost immediately. It sounded like shooting line except there were hoses flying everywhere and shit hitting the fan🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yeah its a PAIN with the wrong tongs..
SHIT, that stuff isnt fun to joke with...
Don't wanna be "that guy", but its not really a naginata, more like slimmer dao? idk, but naginata is spearlike weapon that can slash. Great build regardless.
yeah i figured that out 😅😅😅
SPEAR SOWRD???
Yeah kind :D
That's some sort of glaive but a nakinata it is not. That's like calling a polish saber a katana.
I saw a few pictures like this and liked it :D
Schickes ding aber wenn man das video mit der Übersetzerstimme sich anhört , dann hast du eine frauen stimme. Ist schon lustig
Omg gerade ausprobiert, WTF xDDDD
That is not a naganata! That would be a pudao! MASSIVE DIFFERENCE, AND YOU'RE OBVIOUSLY NOT SMART.ENOUGH TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO! BECAUSE THERE IS A MASSIVE IN FACT, A WORLD'S WORTH OF DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO! NAGANADAS WERE ESSENTIALLY KATANA STYLE.BLADES, WHAT YOU HAVE.THERE IS MORE COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS A CHINESE STYLE BLADE... SO EITHER YOU'RE NEW TO THIS, OR YOU'RE DELIBERATELY IGNORANT... EITHER WAY I CAN ALREADY TELL JUST BY LOOKING AT IT THAT IT WOULD NOT SURVIVE ACTUAL COMBAT!
Bro get your cool together, funny that you need to caps lock to proof a stranger wrong. 🤣🤣
@MartinHuber_Knives 😅Funny that a so-called blacksmith doesn't know the difference...🤨
@ Well you could have told me in a normal manner and i'd agreed and thanked you for showing me wrong :)
@MartinHuber_Knives I would have if you weren't an established bladesmith... That's like me telling the doctor how to do an appendectomy cause he doesn't know what it even is... I'll just check your online bio.And it says you've been doing this since you were 16. Yeah, you definitely had it coming because you definitely should have known better! That's why!🤨
@@jorynickila7760 Beeing a bladesmith doesnt mean i know all 100000 different types of sharpy pointy things :D
