i agree with you wholeheartedly when trying to fix a problem with the vendor or rep for the product and not claiming to be an expert in farming but at the same time have more years of experience than the person on the phone is old let alone had with the company he works for call me a liar or make me out to be an idiot doing what I've done for most of my life and never had a problem till their piece of equipment was brought into it. Your never too old to learn something new and easier to make the job easier and better in life for you and not every piece of equipment will perform the exact same way from farm to farm or crop to crop but to be under warranty AND called a liar . Either fix the problem anyway you can right or like you said burn it to the ground or give them directions to the nearest doctor to have it surgically removed. Un excusable to be treated like that by dealer. I am looking to buy a new rake , really like the rotor rakes but don't know how well they would work on the terrain of some of our fields being on steeper slopes and past pasture fields. No one in this area has a rotor rake to look at or see in action. Turning the entire farm into nothing but hay production for resale and need a rake for all types of hay , thick and thin crops for years to come.
Have you ever pulled apart the tine pipes I am having a hell of a time getting mine apart, I have heated the pipe socked it for 2 days and have been beating and they are froze on there any ideas Ben
