    -6000 families out of 18000 have already signed agreements to be able to stay in their foreclosed homes in the last six weeks.
    -"Burned-out houses...if we demolish the run-down areas around the stronger neighborhoods, the values of the rest of the neighborhoods come back."
    -Demolishing 200 houses per week, 3500 down in the last six months, another 4000 by August.
    -32% reduction in car-jacking
    -200 more police will be hired
    -opened up 230 parks that were closed in 2013 and added new playscapes(25), baseball parks, reopening community recreation centers
    -academy opening for DPHS student to enrool in EMS/firefighter classes so when they graduate, they can take cert exams and be hired
    -finishing with a balanced budget for the first time since 2002

    "I met with the Governor....there are people who think that Republicans and Democrats should fight and that I should argue with the Governor and not work with him. But the Gov listened to what I said and he said 'I'll support you on this'...with his support we went to work...we got the bill through in bipartisan fashion." - Duggan, regarding working with families who have foreclosed homes
