- In todays episode we made our Mexican moms rank frozen burritos once again! They got to try some very popular frozen burritos that many people have heard of before like, Amy's Black Bean Vegetable Burrito, Jose Ole Frozen Mexican Food Burrito Beef & Cheese, Ramonas Burrito Beef & Bean, Reds Burrito Cheese Quesadilla, Reds Burrito Turkey Sausage Egg & Three Cheese, Tinas Burrito Big Burrito Beef & Bean And Green Chili, and El Monterey Signature Shredded Steak & Three Cheese Burrito. With all of these frozen burritos all having different tastes we got to see our moms rank and state their own personal thoughts on each burrito!

Potatoes and beef, it’s so had to find them in grocery stores now.

When my husband was little, his mom used to fry tina burritos and cover them in enchilada sauce and all the toppings. His mom passed away, and to this day he will every once in a while have 1 of these burritos. Says it reminds him of when his mom would make something out of nothing when they were struggling.

As a longtime vegetarian, I really like Amy’s burritos. I’m glad the Mexican moms do, too.
I buy El Monterey or Tina's chile verde and bean burritos (they're cheap!). I'll put two or three on a baking sheet and bake them for about 25 minutes, then pour some jar salsa like Pace or La Victoria on them and top with shredded cheese. Back in the oven for about three minutes to melt the cheese.
Susana looks like she stepped right out of the 80s and I am HERE FOR IT

This is why when my kids ask for frozen burritos, I make extra at dinner to take the leftovers to make my own homemade frozen burritos. I used to buy them because they were easy. But when I realized how to make them, I quit.

When I ate frozen burritos Tina’s was my go to. Bean and cheese or the red hot beef 😂😂 couldn’t catch me eating one of those now! But they did slap especially if there was nothing left to eat.. kinda like ramen lol

The best burritos to have are your own homemade burritos. The one that your grandmother passed to her daughter to her own daughter. Nothing beats its, and it's made out of love and not in the frozen food section. It's just my opinion 🤷 lol.

Tina's is gas station burritos. I remember them as a kid. You bought one and used their microwave to heat it up. I don't remember them being particularly good or bad, but it reminds me of roadtrips when I eat them as an adult.
I like Reynaldo's brand frozen burritos. Especially any flavor with potatoes.

The New Mom seems real classy. She got good diction.
The frozen burrito tortillas are worthless and I throw mine away after putting all the good stuff...the meat and cheese with sauce into a skillet with butter and sauté that goodness on my stove on medium heat! Then I get a fresh new warm flour tortilla that my mama made for me 30 seconds ago(you know it's fresh when it still has a little flour on it) and pour all that sizzling goodness from my skillet into it. I chop up some onions into little squares, add fresh cooked Mexican rice, guacamole, sour creme, slices of chile relleno, sliced jalapeño chiles, chopped tomatoes, chopped fresh cilantro leaves and Pico de Gallo sauce...roll it up then sear it's sides on my skillet for 30 seconds on each side(my burrito is way bigger than the ones in the Chipotle restaurants!) And all for $2.00 for 2 frozen burritos! I have never tasted store bought frozen burritos like that in my life! It's so mouth watering! I give my version burrito a 9 out of 10! 😂😂😂

I was hoping I wouldn't see Red's. I used to work there, and the manager would literally tell us to pick up dropped burritos off the floor and say it's good product. I recommend no one eat it, insanely marked up price for the conditions they're made in.

It’s all about batches, sometimes you’ll get a REALLY good batch that tastes amazing. Another time you’ll get a dog shit batch that makes you never wanna get the frozen burrito again
